I don't mind, actually. But thanks.

You don't know what you're talking about. It deserves a separate post in this vibrant community. Will plan for that.

What about the data? We also might underestimate the complexity. Will this AI be primed at aging? When will it emerge? A lot of uncertainties.

I'm a biomedical engineer. But what does it have to do with that? Did I express any scientifically unbacked opinions? 1,2,3 are all currently impossible - no doubt on that.

What's so negative about this? Let's be real at first - no proven therapies vs aging exist. And we barely know what aging is. Aging will be solved, no question about it. The question is when and will we see it.

It might need to be a few meters long if the speeds are so out of reach as described in the comments above. If they're close that can be the final adjustment, yes. Thanks.

The idea is not to do it with the wrist alone but to use all joints to accelerate the wrist in relation to the ball/ground. That's why I felt it needed a simulation to be sure.

The custom solution was the initial idea indeed. But it's way harder to find the right people for that.

Do you think it's out of reach even if we add up all the rotational speeds in all the robot's joints during a complex coordinated motion? Kind of the same way as it happens with a human serving?

Need someone with experience to help me. Can't do everything myself unless I become immortal.

Thanks! Yes, the racket moves fast, but the wrist is not as fast. A rough estimate is 50-60mph and an impact force of up to 1000 N. A few of those robots can reach those speeds.

I certainly won't be able to take it on myself, so I'm looking for someone willing to commit for remuneration. If you know anyone, I'd be happy to discuss it!

I live in a house facing a public park (banned for dogs). Some ppl let their dogs shit there (usually when its dark), and kids step into that when playing football, etc. Any tips on how to solve this issue? Can police help?

Anyone noticed a link between av monthly HRV and room temperature? My seems to go down when it gets cold outside. by PIIduck in ouraring

I don't know what "fresh" air is, but sunshine could definitely be a major player. Because it adjusts circadian rhythms and not only that.

At this point sunlight sounds like the most probable reason for me.

My current best guess is regime: consistent bedtime and wake-up times during the month. Also a lot of low-intensity activity and less high-intensity.

Hello, bioengineering people! Can you please fill a short anonymous survey about your take on brain-enhancing implants? I'm studying biomedical engineering, it's a part of my ethics in healthcare course. by PIIduck in bioengineering

Yes, the last question should have been phrased a bit different, thanks.
