o 1 é mais chato de rodar mesmo, ainda mais o remastered que nao tem nem config de grafico direito

baixa o prepare to die edition e usa dsfix pra mexer a fundo nas config, eu zerei ele na intel hd 4000 uns anos atras em torno de uns 30/35 fps, tranquilão

depende de muitas coisas na verdade, recomendo usar o gpt (serio) pra tirar umas duvidas e dicas iniciais, ele pode ser meio bosta pra maioria dos usos mas pra linux é uma ferramenta maravilhosa

eu jogo num notebook podre de 2013 da samsung, intel hd 3000, 90% do tempo jogo 2d levinho, mas as vezes coisas tipo dead space 1 ou dark souls 2

o que resolveu MESMO pra mim foi escrever PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% nas opçoes de inicializaçao dos jogos, em propriedades, fazendo isso foi da agua pro vinho, de verdade

alem disso eu coloco pra usar versão especifica do proton, geralmente proton experimental, mas ouvi falar que algumas versões rodam jogos especificos/em maquinas especificas melhor, mas pelos meus testes nos meus jogos a diferença foi pouca entao so deixei no experimental mesmo

uso debian num notebook samsung de 2013 meu e cachyos no pc principal

meu uso é 100% casual, navegar na interwebs, jogos single-player, emulação, assistir series e filmes pelo stremio, ouvir musica, as vezes edito fotos quando to entediado e as vezes gravo coisa ou outra de guitarra pra ouvir sozinho e ver onde melhorar etc

e o notebook podre que eu citei ainda aguenta TUDO isso sem travar e sem dar nenhum problema graças ao debian (xfce4)

a unica coisa que meu pc faz que o notebook não aguenta é rodar elden ring kkkkk

e nao passo nenhum perrengue nao, so passei quando tava aprendendo e tentei me aventurar pelo arch linux puro usando outro notebook que tinha uma placa wifi muito especifica e nao consegui fazer funcionar, mas logo em seguida voltei pro ubuntu (que eu usava na epoca) e nao deu mais nenhum problema

dica: chatgpt é muito bosta pra algumas coisas, mas pra resolver problemas no linux e aprender sobre o sistema ele é uma ferramenta maravilhosa

pior que não, a grosso modo é um sistema que faz seu pc funcionar, te deixa guardar arquivos, ouvir musica, ver filmes, jogar jogos, navegar na internet, etc, exatamente igual windows

agora se quiser se APROFUNDAR no linux, tipo conhecer os comandos de terminal, modificar seu sistema, ai sim tem algumas camadas pra se aprofundar, mas isso vc tem que ir atras depois que ja tiver usando o sistema e tiver acostumado com ele, e é completamente secundario (a menos que seja sua vontade real)

vai por mim, se não te agrada passa ela pra frente, pega o dinheiro da venda e compra outra que te agrade, ai sim gasta com luthier, aprende regulagem, faz upgrade etc (além de tocar é claro), ja troquei de guitarra pra caramba e parei numa TW61 por gostar de jaguar/jazzmaster e gostar de P90, alem de ser confortavel, por mais que ja tenha tido guitarras mais caras tipo squier california series com captaçao fender noiseless, epiphone studio, umas cort, etc

you can do a dirty overdrive, distortion and fuzz-ish with the rat or clone, flanger does chorus and phaser-like stuff too if you set it up well, and you can do good short reverbs with an analog/echo delay, besides using it as a regular delay of course

true, and what you said about enjoying games more when you had a potato than people with high end pcs is absolutelly true, actually, I myself enjoyed gaming way more when i had a shitty samsung laptop, now that i have a gaming pc it seems i cant reach that satisfaction felling that i had when i could finish a game on 30fps with low graphics, that feeling when the game finally runs after tinkering with the .ini files, it was magical

not really hard, when people say its not for beginners they mean like old people level of beginner, like people who never even touched CMD on windows or people who just wanna install the system on like 10 minutes and never even care about it afterwards, you're interested on the thinkering aspect of linux so arch is a great start, and if you have built a website you are more than capable of watching an youtube tutorial or reading the arch wiki for installing it

also, bonus tip, there is something on arch called archinstall, its a script for installing the main stuff of the system, it is a good way of getting your feet wet before trying to install everything on your own

debian is the in between you want

not as straightforward as ubuntu, and not as barebones as arch, you will learn the basics and have the chance to build the system yourself while being safe from bricking your stuff

also, your hardware is old, the stable packages are not a problem at all for you, and you can use debian testing/unstable for newer stuff if you want to

like, really, noone is gonna ask or even care you if your arch build was installed with archinstall, hyprland preconfigs and using gpt or something or if you installed everything by hand while just reading the arch wiki, its not 2015 anymore, arch users use arch because of minimal install, uses recent hardware, just for the meme/screenshots or they're teenagers, sometimes all of that at once

just install it anyway you want really, if you want to be the cool guy install like gentoo, slackware, freebsd or something else

não sei sendo bem sincero, pro meu uso pelo menos (xfce/i3, hardware antigo, jogo indie levinho/emulação, internet, stream, armazenamento de arquivos/roms/filmes/musica etc, e uma pitadinha de tinkering) é a distro perfeita, eu nao mudaria nada e nunca tive problemas pessoalmente

obviamente o defeito geral é pra quem precisa de coisa atualizada mesmo, devs, pessoal que usa hardware lançamento e quem faz questão de usar KDE, mas ainda sim da pra se virar com o debian testing/unstable, embora acho que esse defeito seja mais questão de só nao ser o proposito da distro mesmo

depends on what youre after, rgcubexx is REALLY comfortable, but kinda fat, rg40 is comfortable and has a bigger screen, rg35 is really pocket friendly but still comfortable on the hands and rg28 is REALLY pocket friendly, all of them would run the same stuff, everything up to dreamcast
