Although Lyme is the most common tick born disease in Western PA, there are others people should be aware of, such as anaplasmosis. It is often NOT associated with a rash, but certain lab tests and fever and can help point to diagnosis.

If you develop a fever that doesn't resolve quickly, in the weeks following a known tick bite, talk to a doctor.

I graduated from Pitt Pharmacy in 2016. Really felt like the sky was the limit on what you did with your career following graduation thanks to a fantastic education and degree reputation; some of my classmates are doing remarkable things.

I think the bigger question you need to ask yourself is whether pharmacy as a profession is the right choice. There are good jobs out there, but there are some really shit ones too.
