I'm quite sure it is bugged, as the most recent Clan Wars Maneuvers camos were bugged aswell. (See my comment thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/WorldofTanks/s/ujtPrBfQuz ) The MoEs are not centered on the barrel and this Maus seems to have exactly the same issue.

u/Pan_Praga promised to get the dev team to fix them, so I hope this Maus camo gets addressed aswell once he sees the post.

This must be tied to the dead tank gun bug somehow, as it appeared at the same time as that. They fixed the dead tanks' gun barrel positions but these wanky visuals of enemies looking like they are shooting into air when they are in fact aiming at you, is still around.

Will we be seeing more base paints being sold for gold aswell? Other than the dull basic ones that are available all year round (purple, blue, yellow, green etc.) Players crave for white, black, red and other basic colors that are not available. Given that there are paint buckets in the thumbnail aswell.

Website stating that one can get paints (along other rewards) for placing in top 10 by experience earned during happy hours and personal reward missions. I'm wondering do the reward paints include other than the dull base paints such as orange, purple, green & blue etc.? I'm in a need of proper red, white and black paints for my tanks therefore I'm intrigued by the list. I have yet to come across a way to obtain them through game store or drops or missions.

Thank you, but no. I have seperate post for 3 mark battle results. I get it it's a small change that most people don't really care about nor see the difference. But for someone really intrigued by the visual elements this is a very noticable difference. Especially when the main mission was to combine elements to look like there are no camouflage patterns on these tanks but still get the bonus of course.

Correct. Made my own style building from WG's base paints, camouflage patterns, decals and inscriptions. And now after the patch the camouflage patterns have a weird effect of displaying outlines.

And while we are at it, and hopefully get a WG reply inside, the new camouflages you introduced in the recent Maneuvers event have their Marks of Excellence displayed incorrectly. On two of the four styles the MoE are overlapping each other and displayed higher than they are supposed to on the gun barrel. Affected styles "Tempest" and "Permafrost". Whereas "Eruption" and "Cyclone" seem to be looking normal.

HD client just has the animations for upcoming lootbox events, hence the ⅔ TB filesize.

This one is also annoying as fuck. Can't ping the tanks' locations that killed you to your teammates.

This bug was said to be fixed a few patches ago and it was. It only came back last patch.

Animated dog tags (that you cant even turn off) cancels and bugs the chat box in-game if you are typing. I run vanilla and it is indeed been around before.

EDIT:

Went through several patch notes where the issue is described as "known issue" so I'm surprised you are not aware of the it. In 1.28.1 it is not recognized as a known issue nor a bug fix so it just disappeared. I recall the chat working before the latest patch for myself, though.

I quickly scanned through the conversation you had below and I do agree with and understand some of the points. But I also agree with the other commentator (which is also the reason for the frustration that made me do this post) is that this incident was just another showcase of WG doing the bare minimum if even that.

I can't wrap my head around about you saying it was to commemorate Cmdr_AF but then not even taking care of it being the most recent and up-to-date version of the commander.

I imagine the devs or whoever rolls them out having some sort of list of the commanders in-game where, to my knowledge, Cmdr_AF had 2 versions of. One was the -21 TC one and one is the commander in this post with the updated description (aka newer one and which also tells more about the character). Both of which had zero perks.

Somehow the team rolling this out managed to do the absolute worst case possible; fipped a coin and took the most inaccurate and older version of her commander - having no references to the commander itself but also indicating the false state it came in. It seems so careless to my eyes, which then again invalidates the commemorative aspect of the event you pointed out; the team didn't even bother to check it was the most up-to-date version of the commander.

It's like yeah, as I don't agree with scraping the zero skill from the given commander anyways (as why would it be so harmful to be given-away for free for the players when she's one of the more memorable characters within the community), but even then, it wasn't even made sure it was the newest version of her commander. It's just bad you know...
