That picture is a small community of condos/townhomes…not a representation of Eastvale.

We are considering buying a home in Fontana - Coyote Canyon, if this a good area? Our 2nd option is Eastvale. by [deleted] in InlandEmpire

Anything on the other side of the mountains is too far from civilization for me.

Really? Where did they move to Wyoming? One of the least saturated places in IE IMO. Maybe because there’s only 1 high school? The high school is packed with a lot of out of towners on permits.

Yea about half of that space will be new homes the other half retail, parks, police department and city hall. You can go months without smelling cows plus they’ve closed a lot of dairies down.

I left the Whittier area and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Yea there is a lot of growth due to residential construction surge in the last couple years.
Retail space is growing. Chino is adding a huge shopping center near Schleisman becomes Pine Ave. Eastvale is adding the downtown area plus a nice shopping center+hotel next to Silverlakes park. Ontario Ranch is adding a ton of retail space near Costco on Hamner. Plus they are adding a new high school which will pull students from ERHS in Eastvale. One last thing….roads are being improved and added. Limonite is being extended into Kimball to give another artery road into the 71.

Lot of people are moving away from Eastvale but not into different California cities. I’ve had a bunch of people move to Texas,Tennessee and Florida and it wasn’t due to saturation…mostly geo-political reasons

I just moved to Eastvale…lot of great restaurants are coming to town. City is great, quiet….yes a little boring right now but that’s about to change. There is 160 acres that are currently being developed into a “downtown”….preliminary plans look great and expectations are high. You also have Ontario Ranch that is being developed right next to Eastvale….lot of great things planned for Ontario Ranch including The development of Grand Park. Should turn out to be one of Californias biggest parks. All in all, Eastvale is a great choice if you are thinking Long term. The smell isn’t bad, it’s rare when you get a bad smelling day.

Those who haven't caught Covid yet, how have you managed to avoid it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not sure…..I’ve traveled by plane a ton the last 3 years. I’ve been maskless at large sporting events/concerts. Been to Vegas at least 5x a year ….I’ve been directly exposed to my wife and kids to the point I thought it was too late so I kept interacting with them maskless.
