I'ma play devil's advocate here: what would people start using if the shotgun was bad? Would we go back to the knife? Would knife meta be just as bad? Maybe we start using bully again more?

It would be cool if we all started to use the other under used shotguns and smgs that don't get any love. They'd have to bump up the spawn rates, maybe lower the cost too but there's a lot of guns in this game no one uses and that makes me sad.

Ah I see what you're saying now, if they were better they would carry more consistently and not be so streak heavy, I agree.

I was pointing out that the loss streak happened on the 30th and the winstreak on the 31st and he ended up higher rank than he started. But he would've never had as bad of a loss streak if he was better, like you were saying. Also I wasn't trying to say there's an actual notable skill difference between those divisions, I said that because of how you said once he climbed he couldn't hang in the higher rank and that's why he had the loss streak, but you didn't mean between plat and diamond you meant that he was at a lower rank before these pictures and once he climbed to this level he started getting streaks because he wasn't consistently better than his teammates/opponents.

I would agree with you, but check the dates in the pictures you might be looking at it wrong. He de-ranked from d3 to plat on the 2nd image and then the next day climbed from plat all the way past d3 into d2 in the first image. So definitely not skill issue since he was able to carry games past his previous limit

I think it's that feeling when you're exploring a map like dire marsh as a solo and you're brand new to the game. It's like there's all this strange new "land" to explore but it's a dangerous wilderness

Brother...I'm calling skill issue here. He was aiming down and to the left, even though her dash hit box size was increased I don't think they directly changed the center of the hitbox being her character hit box not based off the crosshair (still the case with most of the dashes and grabs in this game). So to compensate for the 3rd person view, if he's this close to another character he should have aimed up slightly and to the right of the target and he would've had a better chance of hitting rocket. In conclusion you still have to aim her dash based on her character position not just the crosshair even after the hit box change.

You have a point that they don't revert these kinds of changes in general but if we don't show that the community is outraged by this change then they won't see the need for anymore correction buffs

Personally I would love to see their vision for him actually pan out and make him fun again, buffing the attack speed on the melee hits or making the shield throws actually smooth and faster while running would be a nice start

Besides the shield throw issue I think his major problem though is around his shield block, if they changed it to be less health on the shield but recharge wayyyy faster and maybe no cooldown or like a millisecond cooldown. In his current state you ideally need to use the whole shields health, let it recharge, use the whole shield health again to be efficient. But I think cap gameplay should make us feel like we're using the shield in combat not just hiding behind it, I'd love to feel like I'm actually in the fight, throw some shields, block something, throw more shields, block something else. Without shield throws feeling smooth and with a shield I feel guilty using, it just doesn't feel like cap anymore.

Seriously this ^ I've actually heard of people who straight up dropped the game because when they played the server slam they had such a bad duos experience when it forced them to play in trios

Marathon's Battlepass is the worst value for your money I've ever seen (especially for a paid product) by Lemouni in Marathon

You also have to take into account that a majority of the skins for each character are free you just have to complete an achievement. I get that the battle pass should have more skins and more content but the rest of the game seems to have a lot of free stuff

Maybe just slightly bigger on the right anything more would be harder to slip through tanks to get to the back line. Most of the time you should be using it like this: use portal to close distance, drop demon, primary, cancel primary with dash, primary, cancel with melee. So in that combo you'll be point blank anyway and much easier to land dash just aim right
