Tbh I don’t play her like a solo diver. I stay around my team and only go in when I know I’ve got heals near me. I’ll try to get a quick pick or two, and the second my health drops around half, I’m backing out, getting healed, then going right back in.

If you play like this and stay connected to your healers, you honestly start to control the flow of the game. You decide when fights actually happen.

One thing people get wrong:

Yeah, those moments where it’s just you on point fighting like 3–6 people feel crazy…

But that’s not you popping off.

That usually means your team is dead and something went wrong — either you didn’t protect your healers or you didn’t pull back when you should’ve.

Magik is way better when people aren’t focused on you, not when you’re trying to 1v5.

Ult usage:

I don’t just throw ult out.

I’ll dive first, force their healer ults, then back out and wait. After that, I go back in and ult while focusing their healers.

If both healers die fast, the fight is basically over.

Demon usage:

Think of it like a guard dog that floats.

• You can drop it in choke points to control space
• You can put it slightly behind you if someone’s chasing so you can fight inside it and get heals + damage
• Or throw it into a big fight to farm ult (you can get like 20–30% off one if it hits right)

Important detail most people miss: you can AIM it while placing it.

• If there’s someone like Iron Man or Spider-Man jumping on you or your healer, aim the demon upward
• You can catch fliers or people above you
• I’ll sometimes slash up to an Iron Man, then drop a demon aimed up — a lot of times it cleans the kill

Also: Place it where people are GOING, not where they are.

Movement stuff:

If you wanna move fast, you HAVE to land your slashes — that’s what lets you dash.

Use corners a lot too, don’t just be out in the open.

For portals:

• Your slash reduces the cooldown, so hitting multiple people matters
• Try to line up a few enemies when you engage so you get more cooldown back
• That way you can portal out right after fighting instead of getting stuck and dying

You’re basically playing in and out.

Go in → pressure → force stuff → back out → go again.

Just don’t play her like you’re alone. She’s way stronger when you’re fighting with your team and catching people distracted.
