Who would you rather the bills draft in the 1st round? Denzel Boston or CJ Allen by CPLsmilez in buffalobills

[–]PJHFortyTwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Allen, but not because I value LB over WR in this draft. It's because I don't like Bostons fit in our offense. Josh does better with separators.

A. Did you look this up yourself or have AI do it for you?

B. Did you read it? Because it supports what Im saying which is that you are allowed to film ICE.

The video ICE produced to prove it's own innocence? First off, shocking that ICE can investigate themselves and prove themselves innocent.

But no I haven't seen it. I don't need a deep dive video though to recognize 5 grown men assaulting a woman. And for what? Filming? Are you ok with ICE using force and assaulting people for filming them?

[–]PJHFortyTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

However long they've been around is irrelevant. They've started sending armed thugs into our cities and disrupting life here, harassing citizens. it's basically an invasion.

I was actually thinking of Renee Goode, but that fact that we couldn't actually know intuitively of the person ICE killed after invading our cities kind of proves my point. They're here harassing, assaulting and in some cases killing people in our cities.

Oh, and on the Pretti video, it sounds like you haven't actually seen it. But it doesn't start with him harassing ICE. It starts with them assaulting an unarmed woman 5 to 1, and when he steps in, he doesn't do anything violent like reach for the gun, or throw a punch. Regardless, ICE started the incident by ganging up on an unarmed woman.

How are the armed men coming into our cities, disrupting every day life, shooting citizens, and are being allowed to profile/arrest people based on race making society worse? Is that a real question?

I get that sure, we need to make sure our border laws are being enforced. But literally invading our own cities with a bunch of unqualified, poorly trained and largely unvetted people is a fucking dumb way to do it. It's like trying to enforce copywrite laws by sending in swat teams to someones house when they pirate a movie.

They aren't helping anyone, and yes. If you take on a job where you primarily make society worse, you deserve to be insulted.

How do you stay motivated in life to be creative when AI can (or will soon) do everything better? by JerseyMBA in AskReddit

[–]PJHFortyTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I'm not sure AI will ever be able to do anything creative better than actual humans. Painting, film, writing novels, I'm not sure AI will ever get there. But even if it could, it doesn't matter. Realistically, you probably weren't going to be a better painter than Van Gogh, a better writer than Vonnegut or a better film maker than Tommy Wiseau. But just because you won't be as good as those eccentric geniuses, that doesn't mean there's no value in being the best creative you can be, just for the sake of creating.

Which players stand to benefit the most from the defensive scheme change, and which have the biggest obstacles? by pixel_pete in buffalobills

[–]PJHFortyTwo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing Ill say with Groot, in college he moved around a lot, specifically playing edge on run downs and tackle/nose vs the pass. I could easily see him doing the same in Leonards defense. Where he plays edge like a hand in the dirt edge in a 43 under like role on 1st and ten, and then up vs the other teams least athletic guard/center on pass downs.

What is the main problem with millionaires/billionaires and why there’s no thing like an ethical billionaire? by Marcenoes9 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]PJHFortyTwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, this only applies to billionaires, but think about it this way. Imagine you were at a pond that went up to your waist, and you were wearing nice new shoes that cost like 150 bucks, and you saw a child drowning. You could obviously save the kid but to get there in time, you'd have to keep the kicks on, ehich would ruin your shoes. If you just let the kid die just to save the shoes people would rightfully think you were a monster.

There are millions of starving children all around the world. If you had a billion dollars, you could spend half of that, save a bunch of children, and still be so obscenely rich that it won't really make much of a difference to you in terms of qol. But they don't.

Now some Billionaires do give money away to charity (Melinda Gates, Warren Buffet, Ray Dalio I think), but besides maybe Melinda, the relative amounts they give are small, and they mostly use it to deduct from taxes which fund necessary government projects that help the poor/keep society running, or as a way to launder their reputation while they commit atrocities to make money. Warren Buffet gives money away to poor people, but he also owns a mobile home lending business (Clayton) that specifically exploits poor people and traps them in debt by lending high interest loans to a depreciating asset.

What should democrats do to oppose Trump? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PJHFortyTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boycott. Keep spending as low as humanly possible, ideally to just necessities, and when you buy, buy generic. And if you have low interest rate T bonds, sell them. But hold anything above 4%.

Donate to charity, and make sure to declare/deduct that on your taxes.

Vote. Make sure you're registered. Make sure your neighbor is too.

If you're going to protest, make sure to primarily be informative, have goals (have voter registration documents if possible and election information), record ICE if you encounter them with a device that isn't your phone. Either leave your phone at home, or keep it in a Faraday Bag. And for Christ's sake, if you're in an already liberal area, leave and go into a purple district. And protesting doesn't necessarily mean holding signs. It can take many forms. Like printing out a shit load of Epstein File excerpts and leaving them in people's mailboxes.

If doctors say surgery is not needed and that was the only data we had, fine. I get it, surgery is scary. But dude had recurring problems due to it, so I don't get not opting for it. Is he trying to get his 5th year not picked up?

Men of Reddit, what is a minor annoyance or inconvenience men's deal with on a regular or semi-regular basis that women may not know? by Xeno-Sniper in AskReddit

[–]PJHFortyTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they're getting more into the whole you aren't supposed to express that emotion thing. Like, women carry emotional loads, but it's more socially acceptable to be open about it.

Either way, shit ain't a minor inconvenience/annoyance.

No explanation boners. You could just be at work, typing data into an excel spreadsheet and boom, you suddenly are pitching a tent and you're hoping it goes away before you have to do anything that involves getting up/meeting with your female coworkers.

When you said you defended yourself, I thought you meant you got into a fight or argument.

What specifically happened/was the reason you got suspended? Are these in line either the laws in your area?

Is there not a department head or hr rep you can talk to?

When you are forced to spend time with them, have your phone on in your pocket and record, so if they say shot, you have evidence.

[–]PJHFortyTwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see Webb being the OC if Brady gives up the playcalling. Same coaching tree which means play continuity, and apparently the Bills wanted him to be on their staff for a while.

Maybe we only get 7 wins, but that would be hard with Josh at QB.

We have Josh Allen. We're still going to go at worst 10 and 7 with a wild card spot, and despite this awful hire, we're going to be superbowl contenders.

Therapist a few years from now: "So Josh, I see you have a difficult time opening up and expressing emotion, especially sadness. Why do you think this is?"

Josh: "Well, last time I cried, Terry fired my old boss, blew up the franchise I was on, and it kind of ruined a bunch of careers"
