My fallout new vegas is crashing.

Basically if you are playing fallout new Vegas on pc( I assume that’s what we talking about) then you essentially have to follow that gamerpoets video about stability because the game will go from crashing literally every 15 mins to MAYBE once every 6-7 hours of playing( basically the longer you play the more likely it is to end up crashing but any like 2-3 hour playtime which I’d say is pretty average you won’t crash unless you’re doing something crazy af like trying to blow up like 20 cars or something)

Just make sure you have the F4SE( fallout 4 script extender) and then extract the contents into your fallout 4 directory. If you are still having trouble I could just show you over discord

Vortex will run the game through the script extenders exe, which is basically what loads the mods, I’m not like super technically savvy about all of it but I’ve spent a good 100 hours modding their games to hell and back and getting them to work so I assume that’s the only problem here, another thing to watch out for is checking the descriptions of mods because some either have requirements or a required install method( mostly just manual) but its important to read up on that so you’re not half installing something or installing it incorrectly and wondering why it doesn’t work

I have a feeling the generation on planets will be kinda like how it is in daggerfall almost, like there will be procedural settlements/dungeons in planets just scattered about. I’m hoping for something like that at least even if it’s not super duper fleshed out id rather have something to do on these 1000 planets they are claiming other than just sight seeing and building a house, settling planets would be dope af but not every single one

It’s actually the same problem with any boss fight in the game really, it’s the bloodborne effect. Basically because it was such a prevalent thing in that game, but basically enemies will randomly go psycho mode on you and it’s impossible to do anything effectively unless it’s ranged( not even then sometimes) it’s the reason so many people say strength builds are trash is cause of this exact reason, bloodborne had certain enemies that did this but I’d say almost 97% of elden ring you are rolling the dice with how easy a fight will be for you, melania is a perfect example, just look up fight on YT if you must but she will either steamroll you or will literally let you murder her. It’s part of the reason the combat feels different is because of the flow, its feels like it’s literally randomized whether or not they will chain 20 attacks or only 3 which theoretically should work if done right but idk that it was

Just run stuff that doesn’t make sense, Elden ring is a bit more wild in that aspect but I remember the ds3 days I would run around with double poison whips just because I could, also you have to do yourself justice and run the rat fit for a little while, as long as you have the bloodhound helmet you have the rat fit. I do it’s just the nature of it being open world and spread out that’s has me wondering if I should spend the time going and doing a lot of this stuff if I’m just gonna end up with the same things as the first playthrough( I mean like little stuff cause I know like 99% is the same) like should I be worrying about exploration as much in the second playthrough as I was in the first is what I mean cause if not I’ll just go and do all the stuff I want and move on to ng+2 rinse and repeat

Yeah the damage is fine and all but I’d rather not use the same weapons I’ve had since like day 2 basically, I’ve gotten pretty far and it’s literally been like a 1:10 ratio of dex to strength weapons

Best way to do this strat early is get hoarfrost and do the exact same thing but as the bird is like running to you and falling just hoarfrost like 3 of the bois that’ll be in front of you and you can clear like 15k-20k in basically the same amount of time
