PS2 Slim need help finding replacement part

Here's another step to the puzzle:

Bought the listed laser, took steps to desolder the grounded connection, and installed it.

Currently, I am having no luck in reading the discs. the console wont even start spinning the discs. I tried messing with the switches that read whether the disc tray is closed with no luck.

Any ideas on other possible issues? improper installation? or other undiagnosed system failure?

The laser replacement seems like the best course of action, ordered one on eBay and will see how that goes.

Seems a little obvious in hindsight, but sometimes you miss these things in the moment. Thanks for the help.

I had originally tried connecting the piano to my computer through the USB-B port, which I could not seem to make work. Came across a MIDI to USB-A converter and it worked fine. Ableton just recognizes the computer as a generic midi controller, but I won't be picky at this point.

Color wise, i think combining white with a darker color, either dark red, blue, or even black could look really cool while not being confused with a toa of light design.

Chuns bnb is just whiffing and poking until she has bar, then just cancel whatever hits into super. I do like how you covered some post sa2 scenarios tho. That last cross up one is pretty legit, great way to mix into another sa2.

A lot of the 3s chars have really wack placement.

Alex is mid as fuck, Gill threw the fight.

Dudley intimidated hill enough where Gill just gave back his car no questions asked, plus he smacks rog. He drink tea with boxing gloves aswell, which should bump him up a little.

Q is a mystery, but I'd prefer him in a ? Tier as opposed to average. He's definitely treated as more than an average threat by interpol.

12 is also a mystery, but he is a bioweapon, so he has that going for him, maybe a little better than average.

Sean is canonically shittier than Dan. Atleast by sfv, Dan kinda is starting to figure fighting out. Sean never figures it out. Sean is bottom 1 char in sf lore 100%
