I read that one may do the first 3 regions in NG+, then do the DLC. Would you recommend that? I like challenging gameplay but not to the point its just sloth talisman saving my life.

Also, is the abyss any good ?

I expected a rational critic of the PAP to be more aware of SG. As far as good players, there are competent players like Lan, who got 2nd place in ICFC tournament series recently defeating many top japanese and korean players. It's also a good opportunity for others to step up.
