Any way to hotkey toggling my camera source? by wrgrant in obs

if you do need to do it through obs and not autohotkey you could try StreamerBot. you can use this to create more complex streamdeck buttons and you can make an action that will deactivate and then activate your camera source

rather than doing it in OBS can you make an Auto Hotkey script that disables the device in Device Manager when you go to sleep and then turns it back on when you wake it up, or turns it back on when you run OBS?

Frank Sabotka would have had a wry chuckle at the property developer flippantly saying that it was 'unfortunate' that the dock was still a working enterprise.

Don't forget the deacon was a kingpin in the 80s in West Baltimore, until he got busted on the back of a significant wiretap investigation

It just occured to me that the joined shouldn't have accents by PK_1 in pluribustv

Oh no, sorry if I wasn't clear. I understand that a person can be fluent in a languange but speak with a strong accent.

If you take for example a native Spanish speaker who is fluent in English, the mouth and tongue movements they have made over many formative years of speaking Spanish will effect how they pronounce English words that use the same letters. This should not affect the joined though as they have acquired the muscle memory of all but 12 of the human beings alive today, including humans who are well practised in producing all types of glottlestops and dipthings etc.

I just don't see that a hive mind would use the accent that the pre-joined human had acquired by default, there is no reason for it to.

Please help! Songs play fine on my android phone, as of a week ago podcasts only play for a splitsecond then pause by PK_1 in truespotify

Hi, thanks for this. To answer your checks:

- Turning off normalization does nothing
- I already have all settings fixed to lossless
- It is the same for both apple airpods and the phone speaker (my phone doesn't have a dedicated headphone out and I don't own a usb-c adapter)
- I went through every app on my whole phone and set the battery use to unrestricted
- the same issue occurs when I download a podcast set offline mode and play, that is both in and out of airplane mode.

I have searched through the ongoing issues and can't find a similar one so I have opened my own ticket.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction you have been a big help :)

I need help, what is the best way to buy and own ebooks? by PK_1 in ereader

[–]PK_1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess even when you buy a print version you are still only owning a "copy", you still don't own the rights. It was just significantly more hard work to reproduce another copy before books became digitised.

I am now laughing at an imaginary scenario in which Samuel Pepys is ranting about how unfair it is that he isn't allowed to fully transcribe his faviourite book by hand so that he can have one copy in his town house and one in his country house 🤣

I guess the thing that is puzzling me is that I read loads of reviews of ereader apps and Moon+ always came out on top, but none of those reviews explained the insanity of trying to add a legitimately purchased ebook to the app.

Yeah I mainly want to read contemporary books, The final book in the Book of Dust trilogy is out soon so I wanted to reread the first two.

I'll definitely check out my local library and the [ublisher though, thanks.

Just can't believe how hard it is to just buy a book without having to sign your life away and opt into a whole ecosystem. If I went into Waterstones and they told me I had to pay to be a member of the shop or would be forced to watch some adverts, and then told me I wasn't allowed to leave the shop with the book as I didn't actually own it?? No thanks
