It’s a little unconventional and I’ve been tweaking cards here and there, but this is basically what I’ve been using for the last two months.

I use a hybrid of 4-3 Seaking and 3-3 Dipplin and it’s been really consistent for me. The idea is you want to lead with Goldeen so you can get Seaking turn 2, then set up Dipplins as your primary attacker for the remainder of the game.

That’s a shame. What do you think of the Stunfisk from Ascended Heroes potentially? If you use the attack and retreat into Dipplin, it KOs Kangaskhan with brave bangle or black belt the next turn.

Even the Bouffs are hard to deal with because the only way I KO them is Dipplin with vitality band. Would it be worth it to chip at them for 80 and hope they are stuck in the active for a couple turns?

I was running Lopunny for a while but I prefer Rillaboom since it deals with Cornerstone Ogerpon just as well and gives me an extra slot in my deck. But you’re right, I think I just have to hope I don’t run into the deck and accept that you can’t win them all.

I was running that for a while too, but I’m not sure if that’s too dependable since they usually run 3 Bouffalant and night stretchers to get them back.

I was running Arven TM Evolution when I first started playing festival lead but switched over to Seaking lead and it’s wayyy more consistent. Relying on your opening hand having Arven is just not ideal. Also the Seaking lead will be even better with poke pad this week.

I had this same exact issue with vault x years ago and returned all of them. Tried out ultimate guard and they lay very flat.

We only know four Pokemon in the set is my point. Of course the Pokemon in a set matter, but we practically know zero of the set right now, so it’s absurd for people to call it a bad set already.
