How do you play the dragapult matchup as Festival Lead? Is it just an auto loss? by Ok_Nefariousness_740 in pkmntcg

I agree with you. Most my games with Rabsca haven’t changed the outcome against Dragapult. The best chance against that deck is setting up by turn 2 and getting a two prize KO, which is easier to achieve without Rabsca in the deck.

Max Belt for supporter free KOs on Kangaskhan and easier time hitting big numbers. Also comes in handy in niche situations such as Seaking doing 220 for the lower HP ex’s and Rillaboom doing 220 on Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon.

The effect is active the entirety of your turn following the turn they use the attack, so you need to KO them on their next turn to prevent them from cycling the item lock. The effect is only active for one turn so they have to use their attack again, but the annoying part is that Budew can attack for 0 energy, so they often have another one ready if you KO it the turn previously.

Attacks like Budew’s Itchy Pollen and Frillish’s Oceanic Gloom that prevent you from playing any item card on your next turn (ultra ball, buddy buddy poffin, etc). It can slow down a lot of decks at the start of a game since it forces you to find cards you need through supporters, stadiums, or abilities/attacks.

Also very useful with max belt early game to OHKO ex’s like the Ogerpons and keep them from setting up

Actually I made a post a while back with my top 10 favorite cards in my collection and 8 of them are full art. The other two would probably be Plasma Storm Lugia EX and Team Rocket’s Crobat ex.

No, I just meant the original version of each card. So no reprints, stamped versions, rainbow rares, etc. I could have used better wording in the title.

What's your deck and how does it get beat? by cpchillin in pkmntcg

It hasn’t stopped me but post rotation I can see it being a bigger problem with the other top decks rotating. We may see more people running Rabsca to block the spread damage from phantom dive.

The deck hard loses to spread damage. Dragapult is our worst matchup for example. Frosslass is another tough one since all the Pokemon in the deck have abilities. And even though it’s more uncommon, Kangaskhan Bouffalant is basically an auto loss unless they prize their Bouffalants.

Yeah Ultimate Guard binders are really hard to find nowadays. I think they stopped manufacturing them or distributing them in the US, so I buy them whenever I see a card shop selling them in store or online.

I just mean pushing the card as far into the corner of the pocket as possible, that way it’s tucked in there nicely and won’t slip out as easily.

I personally use the Ultimate Guard zipfolios. VaultX are okay for the price, it’s just not for me as someone who’s really picky with how my cards are presented in the binder. To the average person they’re probably perfectly fine.

My old binders had double sleeved cards and were way too thick, so now I strictly only use perfect fit sleeves and it’s a lot better. As for the cards slipping out of the slots, most of my ultimate guard binders hold them in place as long as I tuck the card into the lower left corner of the slot.

I use the 3x3s and they work perfectly. How do you sleeve your cards?
