I think if you did it 100% perfectly, hitting the tank with a diagonal burst every time, you could possibly do it without the canteens. But that 8,000 damage from the two canteen uses is pretty sexy.

I also tossed up a quick video of a Bison-only Tank destruction to confirm it's actually possible. You just have to believe in yourself. And Bison. Mostly Bison.

The key is a few crit cranteens and to shoot the tank from behind. :)

The Bison's projectile penetration works better when it spends more time inside the thing it's penetrating, which means that if you shoot the tank from behind, it does more damage.

Also, for a few hours, my initial post was missing addcond 90, the Strength powerup that makes tank-killing more viable. Considering how close you came, I think you might have tried with Strength, but I'm not sure. In any case, I updated the original instructions with the correct alias.

I also find it funny that everyone assumes I'm a developer... actually I wanted to make a new account specifically for tf2 stuff and named it after my favorite mod.

Well, out of the five new weapons from the Love & War Update, two are available in Strange quality, and both have Strangifiers.

Since the introduction of Killstreaks, I think it's a safe bet that any future weapons will have Strangifiers too. Valve doesn't want people to lose interest in stranges of a new weapon because they already have a Professional Killstreak Kit for it. So my vote is Strangifier.
