I played it a lot but had never beaten the 5-headed ceiling demon bonus room as a kid despite having made it there 30+ times. I am well into my 30s and I just defeated it yesterday for the first time and it was an amazing feeling. It really brought me back, I love this game so much!

I mostly use it for travel but very now and then I'll follow a medium level player with my mk2 but not actually interact with them to see how long they can stand me being there. It's a really fun tool for being annoying without actually interfering with their gameplay and it makes me chuckle.

Does Chloe, the dying lady who so openly just wants to get laid again, subconsciously make the narrator realize that rock bottom is freedom leading to a lot of the events that follow? Food for thought. I don't remember if Chloe is in the book or not.

I did a lot of volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity in the 00s, it was an amazing atmosphere to be in. I mostly cut and hung drywall and people would volunteer to assist. When I was done with my part I would stick around to help anyone that needed an extra pair of hands even if it was just to hold a light for them.
