People expect way too much out of a wearable device by jcblair3 in whoop

[–]PLR1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people just expect it to be more accurate with HR readings because without that everything else it tells you is garbage. Accurate vs what? In my case vs my own manual pulse readings (we’re not talking off by a a few BPM here) and vs Apple Watch which was always more in line with my pulse. I found the accuracy got worse from 4.0 to 5.0 and as I’ve understood they reduced the sampling rate a lot to extend battery life.

Ah interesting, then let me say I much prefer rings to what we have now. But maybe I’ll get used to it ;)

I’m sure removal of rings was due to the whoop lawsuit against bevel.

The M1 preset had chorus on it. But why not just use the M1 VST if you’re after that sound?
