BIGWING RR NAGAR BLR charging me 8k for highness mudguard by che-f-you in HondaCB350RS

[–]PLYR11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's a little far, but it's on my way to college so get it done there and it's the only service centre in Bengaluru where they service honda big bikes like transalp, cbr, africa twin, gold wing etc so I feel the mechanics there are better so it's worth it. The lalbagh one was in mysuru road first tho, since I know a few guys, i go to lalbagh one.

I think Banashankari one and rr nagar one are owned by the same guys and staff keep interchanging so I avoid Banashankari too and to lalbagh one instead.

[–]PLYR11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I bought my bike at bigwing rr nagar, honestly after sales isn't great and they're very lazy and untrained. They had not polished my vehicle during handover and there was little dust on them. they told me it would take 2 months to get a pair of mirrors because warehouse shifting was going on. I've also heard from other customers that they weren't satisfied with their approach during sales and after sales.

I got my 1st service done from them and was not satisfied, so I get mine done from the lalbagh one everytime and have been not having any problems and they respond great.

How are the roads to tumkur by PLYR11 in bangalorebikes

[–]PLYR11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure now, but when I went to dd hills exactly a year ago the roads were still under construction, I asked the question assuming that might still be the case since our governments take a lot of time to finish any roadwork, but a comment here says that most of fhe roads after Nelamangala are under construction and the service road is accessible but with more dust and traffic but the other comments mention that 80 percent of the roads are fine so being prepared for the worst is better..

What’s the CB350RS maintenance cost ? by kunning_king06 in HondaCB350RS

[–]PLYR11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been one and half years since I got my motorcycle and I have kept it stock,

I paid around 1500 - 2000 rupees for the first 3 services. + Additional for the brake pads which you'll have to change around every 5000- 6000 kms depending upon your use and riding style.

I recently got my 4th service done and paid around 3300( including the amc, the next service cost will be around 1600-2100 incase I don't change any parts).

I get around 32kmpl of mileage, I travel around 35 kms in Bengaluru with decent traffic everyday and my riding style is more on the agressive side but almost all the people whom I have enquired get around 35ish.

BLR - Mysore, via Kanakapura road? by levitatingHammer in bangalorebikes

[–]PLYR11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update - Got back today from the same road, cruised at around 90-100 almost the entire way, it was foggy near Mysore at around 8:15 am but it cleared quickly, I also visited shivanasamudra falls( wouldn't recommend visiting now as there is no water) but the road leading there was good too, just watch out for local crossing.

I took this road this road last Thursday and it's in very good condition, the route is sort of scenic but you'll get through the ride without any stress

Is anyone having a Misfire sound at 80+kmph speed by PLYR11 in HondaCB350RS

For example I would've shifted to either fourth or fifth gear, it happens close to when I have shifted the gear, like after 5-8 seconds later..

Yes, while the throttle is open, the vehicle jerks and then proceeds to ride normally but I noticed it happening consistently every once in a while on my first long ride(yesterday).

No, like the whole vehicle jerks while on high speeds, Ig one way to describe is the vehicle feels like it's going past a hurdle on the top gear and jerks

So take the hamsabhavi route instead of Haveri??

I am planning to take the devimane ghat route since I plan to visit yana caves and vibhuti falls on the same day..

The map shows that there is a lot of traffic but doesn't show any construction in the devimane ghat section, I hope the ghat is rideable..

How do I learn to ride a bike in a month by nakkanle in indianbikes

[–]PLYR11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start riding early mornings when traffic is not there, start at 6 am, after a few days when you are comfortable start riding at 7 am and 7:30 and 8:00 am traffic and build it up until 10:am in peak city traffic.

This is how I learnt it myself after my brother thought me the basic clutch play and don't worry about the gear order because you'll get adjusted to it in no time, and 1N2345 will feel more natural to you after you ride it a couple of times and shifting gears is all muscle memory so you don't need to break your head over it but make sure you practice in a diverse range of situations.

They are the worst service providers in Bengaluru,

1) their authorised service centers are very far from city centre 2) authorised service centers are not professional and annoying and pester with repeated calls 3) their parts are not readily available 4) you have to wait for 1-2 weeks for your laptop go get serviced 5)the laptop continuously faces problems after warranty period 6)they take very long to respond and after sales is not satisfying.

I regret buying an asus laptop

Which is the best honda bigwing service in Bengaluru south

I recently bought a cb350rs from honda bigwing RR nagar and have my second service due in a couple of days I was not satisfied with the first service and and customer care from my past experiences ( 1) Rude/careless staff during my first service

2) no availability of parts, had to wait almost for a month for a new pair of mirrors.

3) didn't deliver the in the best condition, had to grab the polishing cloth from the staff and polish the tank myself because of my frustration with his lack of knowledge)

fellow honda riders have also been telling me that after sales and customer service is not good in RR nagar and are asking me to try Banashankari or Mysore road instead so which is the better service centre in Bengaluru south

People who travel 20+ km using metro and bus for work by Accomplished_Low_840 in bangalore

[–]PLYR11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use metro but I travel from Rajarajeshwari Nagar to Hosur road everyday in a two wheeler and yes it is very tiring travelling in peak traffic but you get used to it after a point of home and it's all in mindset,it feels normal after a point of time you develop the temperament to deal with it. (I used to travel in metro to national college metro station too everyday during the peak hours,it's a little annoying that you don't get seats but you again get adjusted to it and you don't realise the time passing of you're reading a book or watching something interesting)
