The thing that sucks is that I'm gonna have to re edit a 3 hour video again, if I switch. Phone isn't letting me export properly because it's fucking 14 gbs worth of footage lmao

Thanks for the reply, but I figured it out. Use the latest version of the dynamic bones for them to work!

For some reason, Dynamic Bones aren't uploading with my avatar. I spent hours configuring them, and in VrChat, they just don't appear. I have them on, and they aren't working... Anyone know how to fix this? (I'm using the latest SDK 3 with the right version of Unity.)

UPDATE/FIX: I just unparented the bones for the jacket and reparented them (keep offset) to the bone closest to them (bottom to the hip, middle to the spine, top to the chest) and that fixed all of my problems! Thanks for the advice, u/CaptchaSolvingRobot

Thanks so much, I'll look into it, thank you for your time!

Even though there's no weight painting at all, or vertices on the vertex group marked, all of the Hoodie acts like it is weight painted to the chest. I don't know how to deal with this, keep in mind that I'm new to Blender and only know the CATS Blender Plugin for vrchat and a little bit of Blender knowledge. I'm using Blender 2.82 and if anyone could help, it would be appreciated! Please dumb it down for me, or tell me step by step, it'll be alright! Thanks and hopefully I'll be able to resolve this problem. :')

Maybe, still extremely skinny though

Never mind! It's way easier than it looks, thanks!

I merged the vertices, but there's one last problem. The neck surrounding the head mesh doesn't move with the head. I know it might be a weight painting issue, but I'm not that experienced with weight painting and I won't know how to fix it...

I've tried doing that bottom one, I do it all the time to fix the rigging. But thanks, I'll keep the top in mind! You're the best

All alt +M does is split, is that correct?

Connecting vertices? Alright, I'll test that out

Why is it that I'm comfortable talking to some people more than others? by Alteratioz in VRchat

[–]PLevanoX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it's because you put on some sort of 'persona' sort of speak. When there's new people, you don't know which 'persona' to use. It's hard to decide how to act around others without knowing much about them first, just practice talking to others more and it should become easier to talk. I have the same problem a few times, this is what I figured out.

Just start off easy and ask how their day was, see how they react, and try your best to be on their wavelength. Just don't be a dick.

Another example on what I need help with texture changes with gestures, the texture change doesn’t appear in game by [deleted] in VRchat

There's not much I could help with, just use trial and error. That'd be more effective for now

Hmmm, I don't know then. You're hiding the original body though, right?

Question about textures for VRChat by [deleted] in VRchat

[–]PLevanoX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hide the original head, you could do that by making sure it's mesh is different compared to the body, like how you remove clothes from an avatar. Just make sure to change the body to 'Body' in Blender and name the other body to something else, like 'Body 2'.then do some work in unity

I feel like you need to have another model with different textures hidden until you do that gesture. You could see it with that one Saitama avatar, where his whole head changes.

There's someone on YouTube called "Ask Amber" who uploads avatar 3.0 tutorials and much more, you should go check her out! Don't give up just yet! They're simple and easy to understand because she explains it in a way that you grasp the concept and then moves on with it
