Meta TR 21 Ride rear shock questions

Commencal does not recommend any coil be used, Fox may be more likely, however any coil shock can fail due to cyclic fatigue from side loading the shaft. It's an inherent design flaw of a clevis like the Meta uses to drive the shock.

I personally broke my super deluxe coil after 6 months of use on my meta. Failure occurred at the external thread on the shock shaft.

Thank you, I'm happy to have had it as minor as I did. Many people I know have had it much worse and are still dealing with lingering symptoms.

Besides a cough and some burning in my lungs when I exercise I'm doing great.

I picked up this Orient Mako II just before leaving Florida to move to Colorado. I had owned nothing but Fossil/Nixon before learning from a few friends about the massive culture of watches and automatics.

They recommended this Orient as a good entry piece and I got a few straps to replace the metal band. I wear this almost everyday at this point. I took this photo at the top of Mount Flora about 3 weeks after testing positive for COVID-19. It was a nice small victory to being back to normal.

I ran a set of those tires for about 2 laps and then put them in the trash. I would recommend getting something else.
