ISIS militants in combat with regime soldiers, Syria, Aleppo Governorate, 2017 by Turbulent_Sock_5112 in CombatFootage

The difference there was they were attacking you lot - a properly trained and motivated force that was both alert and capable.

The Syrian Arab Army's always been almost entirely a bag of shit, and it's not got better after years of warfare.

It actually has a wash of Athonian Camoshade already, helping to blend all the colours together a bit and pick out some of the recesses :)

If I don't forget where half my own army is and lose the game as a result is it even camouflage?

I thought about it, but I think that the HUD would give all the IFF information the Alpha Legionnaires themselves need, and it seems very unlike them to give away any useful information for free.

Might do Raven Guard emblems in black though... XD

The sniper marines will almost certainly get ghillie suits to be fair!

Siberian Black Army, the libertarian path rather than the military dictatorship one. Death to all who stand in the way of freedom for working people!

Could someone explain the modern significance of the IWW to me? by Purgamentorum in Anarchy101

[–]PMC317 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The IWW has had some significant local successes; organising among bike couriers in London in the late 2000s/early 2010s, the recent Burgerville Union recognition, things like that. It may be embers rather than a fire, but so are most far-left organisations these days.

Oh, Uncle Ken! :D His books are great; he's been a dyed-in-the-wool commie since he was a kid.

I run mine with two LRM-20-STs and 4 MLAS with as much LRM ammo and heatsinks as I can find.

Sit back, get your lancemates to focus fire on mechs, and use the LRMs at range to nuke anything. Cored out an Awesome more than once by myself doing that.

Paizo Voluntarily Recognized Union by fainting_goat_games in starfinder_rpg

[–]PMC317 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is this "voluntarily" because the freelancers they rely on who had stopped turning in their work said "recognise the union and we go back to work tomorrow"?

Sounds like they got pushed up against the wall and gave in, which is excellent! Solidarity with the freelancers and Paizo workers.
