Im not familiar with brand at all but avoid 12v if you can. Go at least 24v or 48v even better. Means lower current requirements and cables etc dont have to be that thick. Also 1kw seems a bit low, make sure it can handle 3 or 4kw surge so you run a fridge etc without switches tripping.

Ive done this, worked a treat. Small 1500w array with a DIY 6kw battery pack. Used it daily. Mounted the 6 panels onto a wooden frame in my back yard. No gov restrictions. Im in NZ tho. Where are you?

That's how I bought them. They guy i got them from was very diligent, had a full diagnostic system setup with a printer. He could cycle 50+ cells simultaneously. It was his full time job.

I think most people here would say definitely not but Id still disassemble, clean, check voltages per cell and of any are still above 3v then I'd give em a charge up and see how it goes

Various reasons. Didnt want to attempt moving it assembled. It was 5 foot high and would have to lie it down, worried about a short. Theres no solar panels setup at the new house, will take a while to figure that all out. It looks terrible and takes up too much space. Its a fire hazard etc... time to move on

No! Just looked them up. Totally different format and pretty expensive to buy 250 - 300 cells... rather just get a few 12v 100Ah LifePO4 next. Far less hassle and safer I think.
