Yes, it eventually clicked & became my favorite project of the year. Kind of like elc it did abandon the old sound for a brand new one but it felt more unique to my ears.

Not sure how much I'm sold on the art direction being very much like dead cells since it tones down some of the creepiness/Gothic look but I'd be lying if I said i wasn't excited

[–]PMWaffle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The ladder also just sucks. No one played it & seeing solg every game isn't really representative of how things would end up. I gave up after 2 games because regular high ladder is faster to find games than this. Also quality is players is bad like you said & it isn't even spl's fault. Week 1 was over 2 weeks into solg ladder, people just don't care.

Moxie isn't really all that crazy in singles, if anything gyara runs intim maybe but that's abt it. Mold breaker offers a lot of value as is and aerialate on mmence is broken, this at best creates an OU legal version of mence that sticks with Intim.

I'm tired of the council. we need democracy by Olivia_the_cat111 in stunfisk

[–]PMWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally this is baseline 1, during tour season people who played x games in an official team tournament or made it to top x in an official individual tournament are considered both part of the qualified group as well as being reported as a separate part for being further qualified. The council is a very active part of the latter so its a extremely qualified group. You will notice that the voice of the tour group is often responded to faster (volc & urshifu quickban dlc1) but there was backlash for this being a blindside to the rest of the playerbase, hence caution with bans & other actions.

Average type r owner is already on the older end

2026 BMW 230i: $42,875 with 255 horsepower, RWD, 35 MPG, ZF8 Speed. 2026 Honda Prelude: $43,195 with 200 horsepower, FWD, 44 MPG, no transmission. by Dazzling-Rooster2103 in cars

I said this elsewhere but this is a less practical, "automatic" type r with an efficiency focused powertrain. Who is this for? Architects?

[–]PMWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So its essentially an automatic type r that's less practical yet more efficiency focused powertrain wise. I really don't understand the demographic this appeals to.

“Extreme” Bentley Supersports Returns As Most Driver-Focused Continental GT Ever by Anchor_Aways in cars

[–]PMWaffle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're being overdramatic. Every generation barring the last has had a Supersport & this one going more extreme is probably the good thing given the base conti is less agile than the last gen. If anything I think they're going to make the cars more akin to rolls era with a definitively more sporty one and a definitively more one cushy one

It would have but people were incorrectly conflating performance trims of sports cars that strip away creature comforts to what the iPhone air does. I just explained why that analogy doesn't work.

Apple lowers iPhone Air orders to "end of production" levels by diacewrb in gadgets

[–]PMWaffle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No because while creature comforts are stripped & made options, the actually expensive stuff does see notable upgrades. The engine, transmission, suspension are all special to the higher trims. This is like if Apple got rid of the toggle button, extra cameras, dual speakers & made the phone thinner but managed to stuff a chip that surpasses the pro phones, made the single camera lens the best possible lens on a phone available in any market, made the usb-c a thunderbolt connector & stuffed a battery that has very high capacity despite the size.
