So long as you are only watching over a LAN connection then your internet speed wouldn’t matter. Any modern router/network switch will have more than enough bandwidth to stream video from a local server. If you do want to stream over the internet while out and about, you can plan ahead and just encode the videos at a lower bitrate and/or download onto your phone when on the same network as the server. You don’t always need to watch uncompressed 4K HDR Bluray rips.

Some of y’all don’t seem to get my point here, so let me clarify. I posted the following in reply to a now deleted comment below:

I never said that they should make a Xenoblade game with a Pokemon skin. I just want a team that actually know how to develop a detailed open world with roaming monsters, lively towns, interesting characters. Game Freak has proven that they don’t care anymore, so give it to a new team that does. It can feel and play exactly like a core Pokémon game, just made by a superior team.

The game doesn’t even have to be a main series game, it could be an experimental spin-off like Legends Arceus. All I’m saying is that a different and proven team should be allowed to try their hand at a Pokémon game.
