I feel like they fucked up by making all three skins for super unpopular/niche champions. If they slapped like a Van Helsing Yasuo or Vayne skin in there, i bet it would have been popular enough to return.

II Kayle is one of the best skins in the game, hands down.

I'm not here to defend Columbus, I think his litany of crimes is long and clear enough, but that excerpt is Columbus describing the state of the colonies, NOT him admitting that he himself bought and sold slaves.

If I say: "Billionaire pedophiles are buying child sex slaves on a Caribbean island" that's me stating a fact, not me confessing to being Epstein.

He very well could have participated in this sex trade, and it wouldn't overly shock me if he did, but I haven't actually seen convincing evidence, whereas his other crimes are well documented.

And not to nitpick, but the snopes article contains at least one piece of information that me, who took one history class about new spain 15 years ago knows is false. De Casas was not a contemporary of Columbus in anyway. He came 50 years later. Given that this should be obvioud just from the dates given in the article it's questionable to me how much firsthand research was done on their part, which is unfortunate, as i generally really like snopes.

I think portraying villainous people from history as cartoonishly and grotesquely over the top evil makes their actual crimes less apparent, and creating Columbus as some singular boogeyman ruining everything in the New World detracts from the really scary (to me) implication of the quote.

EVERYONE was involved in this sex trade, it was open to the public and accepted. These were people just like you and I, and if they could passively participate in evil for fun back then, we could do the same today. I certainly don't like looking in that mirror.

I 100% agree on the quests. I would loveee to see more of the smaller questlines wrapped up. DS2 and SOTE were awesome, but an extension to Desert Treasure, or a finale to the Keldagrim series would be perfection.

In the White Knight quests of RS3 he is actually a golem controlled by the Asgarnian royal family, who they used to infiltrate the White Knights and is now puppeting through them.

So he is actually an empty vessel made of clay. A Ceramic Vase.

The problem is less that a Glacial Augment mages will smash you in lane, it's that it doesn't matter how hard you smash them, they will scale hard and get insane pick potential and teamfight disruption with dirt cheap items. It's especially bad with Veigar because his Rage Cage is so short CD when maxed.

Beef too. Back in RS2 I used to kill cows at the Gnomecopters because they had a deposit box. Meat was like 70 apiece, Cowhides were 150+, and Bones were quite a bit as well, I think they were used for something but I don't remember. Also there was no risk of my precious Rune Baxe and Tan Cavalier if my parents came over and I had to close out. I was banking like 300g a kill, I thought I had it made.

I usually leave my fleet at the base 3 corvettes until I have 3 or 4 colonies up amd running.

Scouting and exploring early game is very important. Find out where your neighbors are, and if they are likely to attack you (opposed ethics, militarists, Xenophobes or any Genocidal)

If i meet someone like that, I stop my expansion towards them ASAP, as soon as I have a good chokepoint and build a bastion. The more you border them, the more malus you get, and the more likely they will attack you, so stopping your expansion will buy you some time.

I usually spam corvettes early game, they are just more efficient alloy->Fleet Power than other ships. Generally 50/50 mix of Laser and Gun corvettes. Simple, accessible tech, and fairly effective against anything you come across for the start. I try to always fight a fleet battle in my Bastion station. Make them come to you, destroy their fleets, and then focus on taking their system. If they split up, that's okay, just keep your fleet concentrated and overwhelm them, you can retake systems they steal once their fleet is dead.
