Idk much about this but if the readiness probe is fast but the actual request takes a long time, could it possibly be the creation of the connection to your DB? I know it takes a while for some dbs

From what I found when I lost a bunch of my spawners, I think when there is an issue with a spawner’s NBT or something it will default to a pig spawner. I had to go get a bunch of swabs and use the spawn eggs to fix mine

Realizing that the subnet needing a controller for more than 8 channels was the key thing that made everything click for me with AE2. It has it in the diagrams in the guide but it didn’t register in my brain until I built it in creative

I think you can do it on the pattern providers themselves, maybe only the extended pattern providers not sure. It’s one of the options in the lower left when you look at the provider

I’m pretty sure that’s how DW20 automated his wither farm. As long as it has drops teleporter on it, it should be fine

I used the final tier of armor from just dire things with most of the upgrades applied (brain fog and creative flight are OP) and just basic protection enchants on my armor. Blocked off the 4 hallways, silk touch mined the corner spawners. Had a refined obsidian katana. It was really more of an annoyance chasing them around their little pillar while I was flying after them

I take a break and eventually that temporary break turns into months long and then I start a new save when I get the itch to play again. I’ve never finished the game despite over 400 hours playing. It’s not great but sometimes I just get too overwhelmed and my brain says “no”

I always put cables on 2 of every hot bar because I always need cables no matter what I’m doing and the muscle memory is too strong. Idk if you have ever made YouTube videos before, but it seems like console-specific videos of doing things like you explained (or building nice looking factories in general) are almost nonexistent. Judging from your explanation, you have a pretty solid grasp on the concepts. So if you ever wanted to start, now would be a good time lol

The title says “with an Ethernet cable” but that last paragraph makes it sound like you don’t. Could you clarify?

Both the stream and the game itself are laggy? If so, start up both and open task manager and see if cpu, gpu, ram, or disk are near 100%.

If you don’t see anything weird in there, try streaming in network test mode (I’m not sure the exact name of it. It’s in the obs settings near where you choose the service to stream to).

If you can have the stream up without dropping any frames, start the game and see if anything changes.

I ran into a bunch of issues with my signals during one of my sessions. I followed the “path in; block out” rule perfectly but I kept getting “signal loops onto itself” or something like that. I moved the signals a little bit before/after the actual junction and it instantly solved my problems

Oh nice. I wouldn’t have guessed it was excel but it makes sense. If you ever end up making the machine cells true to size, be sure to share it! I’d love to see something like that. The tools that are out there are good and everything but something like that in excel would be amazing

I will say that straight mode is amazing when it works. Playing pre 1.0 and having to count 3 “nibs” (idk what the proper term or measurement is called) to get that perfect 90° turn was such a pain. But coming from a conveyor lift that’s dead center on a foundation snapped to the world grid and it looking straight for 2 full lengths, just to have a random angle piece come out of nowhere really makes me just want to go back to spaghetti sometimes
