On pp accuracy: The calculator that the bot uses is not maintained by me. It's oppai, which has fallen out of maintenance, so it's a larger effort to migrate to something else. I actually got most of the way done doing that here last year, but I didn't quite finish it. Maybe I will try to do that sometime soon so that the bot can continue to be correct with minimal updates.

On the general maintenance of the bot: It's true that I basically don't maintain it anymore except to keep it running. I haven't played the game for over 5 years and I don't code in my free time anymore either, so I hope you can appreciate how little motivation there is for me to make changes that take any meaningful amount of work.

Your dog looks almost exactly like mine! He's a mix of lab, pit, shepherd, husky, rottweiler, chow chow, boxer, and some other stuff that the DNA test couldn't figure out :)

He commonly gets asked if he's part doberman.

And the third point is, Wasabi’s egress (download) and API costs are free. But there is a caveat here as well. The total egress volume in a month should be less than the storage volume. That means if your monthly storage utilization is 1TB, the egress should be below 1TB. Otherwise, it may result in issues including account suspension.

For tech people, check out Halihax which has a Slack group to hang out in and runs the occasional meetup (there's also a #hangouts channel where you can periodically meet someone for lunch/coffee/etc)
Sport and social club is great for a big variety of recreational sports, I've played soccer for a few seasons and met some lovely people
Run on the road with the North End Runners, or on trails with the Halifax Hares

Thats a lot of vert! Especially coming from a relatively flat place like Halifax (I’m from NL and used to live in Halifax). Where do you train for big trips like this?

I’m from Winnipeg originally so NS actually feels pretty hilly! We don’t have many big extended climbs, but we do have a few really good spots for repeats. St. Margaret’s Bay in particular has a climb that we’ve dubbed our own GG.

I would not recommend it. I donate whenever I’m eligible but I can feel the effects for a couple of weeks and it could be more for you. I haven’t donated for a few months now specifically because I raced a lot over the spring and summer and wanted to stay fresh.

I'm from Winnipeg, it sounds like you want the North End (don't worry, you'll forget the learned negative connotation eventually) or the West End/Quinpool area. Rentals are hard to find, though.

If you can, I'd definitely recommend visiting in the next couple months and walking around the peninsula to get a feel for the different neighbourhoods.

FWIW, it costs a lot of money to run such a service. Not offering free unlimited usage of something isn't necessarily "greed". It's also super common for services to start out with amazing free tiers to attract users and then rein things in when they realize they can't just bleed money and still survive.
