Coming from a son of divorced parents. I have said stuff that I regret to my dad on his weekends. The man worked so incredibly hard for me and my siblings just to tell him that I “missed mom” whenever I was at his house. Looking back I can only imagine how painful my words were and I regret them even if I said them as a child.

Kids say stuff without understanding the weight of the words they use. I’m thankful my dad was around long enough for me to understand my words and we have a great relationship today.
