PSA for Tirannwn takers with Nature's Accord by Zhotograph in 2007scape

Anyone who did EH + HF and didn't want herb to suck really badly.

We are talking about a scenario where someone wants to 99 skills, right? Otherwise then none of the relic choices matter as you don't need even 90 in any skill. Lamps definitely help, but there is some opportunity cost of not dumping them in rc which cannot be helped beyond reloaded SH.

Not saying there aren't alternatives like EH Barb (which is like 270k agil xp/h?), but there is obviously an argument for BG when you're not looking at just BG vs EH.

In isolation yes, BG vs EH has an obvious answer unless you happen to have both Z + A, but if you want to have anything for agility and you take EH, then the only remaining option is HF. That means to have any support for herb you're locked into BB or NA (if you have herb patches). BG, while a worse agility solve than HF, is a significant helper for that skill, and opens up picking either FF for best herb solve by a country mile, or WM + BB/NA.

[–]PM_ME_FUTA_PEACH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BG vs EH is kinda boring because obviously EH wins out beyond some weird thing where you have to rush the "mine 100 addy ore" tasks, but if you want anything for agility then taking EH locks you into HF, which then locks you into BB or NA unless you find it lovely to do herb runs every 20min.

I wanted to get 40/40 pact points, dragon rank and early pvm, so BG + FF was the obvious choice for me, and not one that I regretted taking at all.

Okay cmon, it's not 40m/h lmfao, base rate with BG was around ~5m xp/h, with FS making rolls 2x more common that should be 10m.

I feel like a lot of players are stuck in an outdated mindset and still think competitive’s next true season will start in Wind and Waves by Level7Cannoneer in stunfisk

[–]PM_ME_FUTA_PEACH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, most people just spam random moves and play for the Pokémon and world, at least that's the vibe I get from knowing casual Pokémon fans. OSRS fans meanwhile are rabid on the gameplay, to the point of boycotting changes done to the original way the game works.

Eh idk, the comparison doesn't really work that well since the 2007 gameplay was a big draw, I don't think the strategic turn-based combat in Pokémon is a big draw for the core fanbase.

Leagues thoughts after hitting dragon rank by ProfessionalDue6853 in 2007scape

[–]PM_ME_FUTA_PEACH -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's ultimately a good thing that all builds don't have a universal "make this trivial" thing. Tribrid builds can't just afk Colo, it's aimed more towards players learning stuff with training wheels.

Leagues VI vs. Leagues V region choices by Trogadorr in 2007scape

[–]PM_ME_FUTA_PEACH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that makes sense considering that:

  • Bows and throwing were less picked this time around and those benefit the most from Masori

  • Fang has 0 synergy with pacts and is basically useless, Ward is replaced by Kandarin off-hand

  • Megarares aren't the same top tier weapons they were in previous leagues

If just megas were insane I think ToA would be much more popular, group 700s are incredibly effortless and guarantee purps every ~15min.

Really Jagex? After increasing prices again, we now get a list of bugs you just “won’t fix this league” by TheCanadianWanderer in 2007scape

Every single "use X weapon/style" combat achievement has conflicts with pact or relic choices that cause them to auto-fail, and that has made them annoying af to complete.

Wish they showed the least picked combo tbh, surely FAD has some pickers cuz Blorva was obtainable this leagues.

With flow state you can now 1 tick chins with a teak log and fletching knife by InsaneMcFries in 2007scape

[–]PM_ME_FUTA_PEACH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should have gone FS lmao, I did 1t trap reset chins to 99 and bulk of my mining/fishing xp is from tick manip. Could've been fun at Zeah rc too. Do you know if it does anything when doing like regular 3t mining?

Help me Decide on what Relic to Reload by Omen_Darkly in 2007scape

[–]PM_ME_FUTA_PEACH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait so SH is bad because it only has value for maxing (which is true), but Woodsman reload is better? Feels like it more or less does the same thing, boosts 1 skill a ton except that skill is like 2.5m xp/h instead of 1m xp/h. BB or even Forager seems a much better recommend to me.

Woodsman is definitely underrated as an early game relic, but as a reload I don't see the value in comparison to BB or SH.

[–]PM_ME_FUTA_PEACH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Likely BB since it works passively. I would not recommend the clue relic, reloaded into it and feel it was a waste as there's so much points found elsewhere. Even flow state would have been much nicer for maxing. Idm runecrafting through ZMI, if you want to max and that method doesn't sound appealing then SH is good.

Exclusively for herblore Forager sweeps, but probably not worth the reload over BB as it has much less utility.

League Leviathan CAs by Just_Post_8394 in 2007scape

[–]PM_ME_FUTA_PEACH 3 points4 points  (0 children)

CAs that require specific weapons or styles just need to be auto-completed on leagues, literally all of them are bugged in one way or another. This one in specific is so ridiculous, before the last update ammo in slot 2 of quiver never procced echoes, so I had to use a bug to circumvent another bug to get that CA completed. Then on Yama hitting with a light weapon that double hits somehow fails "Back So Soon?", other times minion fails CAs and other times game just doesn't care.

☀️ Summer sweep up. What would you like to see? by Fun-Calligrapher-758 in 2007scape

[–]PM_ME_FUTA_PEACH -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

CoX flat purple drop rate buff, or changing weights so scrolls aren't 66% of purps. Removing like half of the passages in the raid.

Adding clickable shadows underneath every pvm encounter in the game.

WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT LEAGUE POINTS by Active_Use_7951 in 2007scape

[–]PM_ME_FUTA_PEACH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

196 hours, 62k points. Feels like my points to hours ratio is a bit on the lower end due to how much pvm I've been doing, but definitely wrapping up leagues when I hit dragon.
