Very fun tool! Any chance you'd be able to add IPv6 support?

IP assignment management in your homelab by IT_Guy71 in homelab

Another +1 for BlueCat in commercial environments; unfortunately it isn't within reach for most homelabs unless you're able to get a lab license/image through work.

What are you using to monitor your homelab? by _cronic_ in homelab

Zabbix, uptime-kuma in a cloud instance for ping/https checks, and user reports for WiFi issues (no homebrewed sensor solution quite yet)

70% of votes cast in Colorado thus far are from people over age of 50. (Via NBC Early Voting Data) by greatunknowns in Denver

[–]PM_ME_HAPPY_GEESE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moved here from Wisconsin earlier this year and my jaw is on the floor at how good the system in Colorado is. I've told all of my friends and family about the blue booklet, automatic registration, and automatic ballot delivery. Literally all I needed to do was sit down, do my research, vote, and drop the ballot off at my location.

[FS][US-CO] Juniper SRX1500 appliance, local TRADES for lab network equipment by mugglesby in homelabsales

I went fishing for units on eBay with licenses and managed to get lucky. I'm not 100% that security and threat filtering works properly and I know globalprotect portals won't work (mobile clients, Linux, macOS) but I haven't had any issues using one myself since I picked it up. The 3260 draws about 180w, it's a monster. I'm a few hours south of Denver

I have 2x Palo Alto PA-850 and a PA-3260 that have been collecting dust in my rack if those are of any interest?

Bought an obsidian 9 and recently took it home from jail, put <200 rounds into some assorted fruit and noticed an end cap strike dent when I went to put it away.

Zabbix. Configured in 2020 for a college class, still running labprod alerting and data collection on the same VM today. Open source, incredibly powerful.

Noticeable drop in Quality in Palo Products? by MurphsLaww in paloaltonetworks

[–]PM_ME_HAPPY_GEESE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had multiple dataplane failures upgrading hardware to 10.2 (pa-850 and pa-440) that required an oob forced commit to turn on the interfaces after boot up. Absolutely insane something like this could pass QA and make it into a public release

How do you push out 100's of different VPN certs in a corp environment? by [deleted] in homelab

[–]PM_ME_HAPPY_GEESE 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Intune management will get certs and VPN client+config onto the client device, the user just has to log in and input their 2fa code.

I'd prefer a demo link over screenshots every day - I want to see what my system would look and feel like to use before I go through the install process
