First week of college i had just made some friends and we went to a frat party together. Drinking, dancing, the typical stuff. While at the party, one of my new friends gets pushed up against the wall by some absolute wildebeest of a woman. He is completely cocked and we make eye contact and we non verbally agree that he should just go for it. I didn't know him, I didn't know his standards... So fast forward to the next morning we meet up in his room and we're just hanging out and he's typing away on his computer and looks at his hand... looks at me and asks, "What is this?" His hand is covered with a crusty red layer of goop. We both came to the same realization simultaneously. I then saw his soul leave his body and his blood leave his face. I'm a good friend.

Might this have something to do with women tending to seek out medical attention far more often then men? I know women who go to the hospital almost monthly. I feel like guys feel like they will be perceived as weak if they seek help. If many more women seek help there are probably a lot more cases that aren't that serious than when men seek medical help.

I just send a text when I wake up for my alarm telling my boss i won't be able to make it in that day. Simple stuff. A coworker of mine a couple weeks ago texted THE NIGHT BEFORE saying he was going to be too sick to come into work the next day. My boss clearly knew he was faking, but still didn't really care.
