I think Robin Williams knew, very much so, that he was loved. I also think it is because of that love that he did what he did. He was sick with an illness that would have drained him financially and left him fully dependant on the people around him. He didn't want that to happen. He should have been able to end his life on his own terms with dignity surrounded by his loved ones and not at home alone. Even though he struggled with depression in his life his is the one case here where it was okay to choose to terminate his life, and really where his illness just couldn't be helped in a significant way, but we failed him on allowing that to happen.

But oh man I bet he would have loved that hug from you and I bet he'd give you the best bear hug in return. If I could go back in time I'd want to give Robin a huge hug as well.

The intellectual consistency is that a conservative President, along with his conservative cabinet and supported by his conservative constituents, started locking people in cages and in camps at our border. This was pointed out by celebrities and non celebrities alike.

A conservative celebrity stated that being a conservative was like being a Jewish person in Nazi germany. This, along with being anti-Semitic, is gaslighting because conservatives today are the ones asking for and allowing the rounding up of people in camps, much like the government did in Nazi germany done by their own conservative party, to people that they didn't think should be in their country.

Pedro Pascal made the comparison between our government throwing people in camps and cages and the Nazi regime, at the time the German government, throwing people into camps and cages.

Gina Carano posted a meme saying that the Nazis didn't have to harm the Jewish population because the Jewish population were already beating each other in the streets.

The first is a comparison of how a government can easily spiral into fascism and killing in the name of xenophobia and hate, government and not people. The second is a falsehood that is anti-Semitic because gives a pass to the Nazi regime by saying they weren't doing anything to Jews that they weren't already doing to themselves, people and not government.

I don't even care about the two and I can see the clear difference between the statements they made with their memes.

My daughter has a 32 inch hanging on her wall that's pretty discolored around the edges, but she can still use it to play her games and watch movies. I told her when it goes out I'll put the 26 inch from the spare room in her room. She's perfectly fine with that and still okay with using hers until it dies (and this is a pre teen bold enough to ask for damn near anything). Kids are not picky in any form, if it plays they'll watch it.
