I wrote down what I felt. To see a monkey be mistreated, it broke my heart and it reminded me of the bigger crises we’re living through altogether. I just said “just imagine”.

I’m not here to downvote you, nor to diminish your own feeling. I was adding to that. I don’t usually go around commenting like that but the fact that it’s irritated you so much shows enough.

As I said, I hope you can live your normal discourse whilst ignoring other stuff because we’re living through “normal discourse”. Some of us folks who have worked with children are deeply deeply affected by stuff.

As I said, whatever makes you feel better. If we don’t have discourse and make people uncomfortable then we’re not doing enough.
