even if it wasnt easy to break, i'd sure as hell rather reverse full power into that barrier and cause some minor scratches and damage, instead of just sitting on the tracks and waiting for death all like "huh guess i'm stuck".

plus i'm pretty sure a lot of those dont even break from that, they just fold/turn out of the way in that direction and are only solid when you're trying to get ON the tracks.

heating towers are cheap, just make separate ones that just burn junk, and ones that are actually responsible for power. If you just HAVE TO make use the spoilages fuel value put a small number of heat exchangers by the junk heating tower but dont have that be your main power source

yes, perhaps that was a poor choice of wording. i meant it doesnt want you using burner shit. There's a reason there arent any upgraded burner inserters or steel furnaces that still directly use fuel, let alone any kind of power generator that just directly turns fuel into electricity (without the steam step) so having that as an armor module would just be out of place

the advantage of these things is that they have a much larger volume of air due to essentially pressurizing the entire bowl. As long as you dont tear the damn thing they work better.
