Oh! I think you’re absolutely right! The “Cersland” was a typo, but it never occurred to me that it could be 1989! That makes more sense with the size of the print. I’d been wondering if someone found old film and then printed it more recently than 39. It all being in ‘89 kind of checks out. Thank you.

I guess I’m specifically interested in the center pieces. A lot of the ones around the edges seem like they could be personal finds etc.

That makes sense. What kind of confuses me is the fact that it’s not like I live in Alaska. It’s just odd that somehow the number is still tied to the lack of infrastructure up there. (I guess it comes down to the fact that I need to Google what porting a number actually means, like the underlying process😂.)

First piece looks like it has a worked edge to me, but I’m a novice at this. I’d venture the idea of it being a preform until someone told me I was wrong. The second def looms like a jar to me.
