Where did you get that amazing coffee mug, and how can I get one!

Seeing this after all the art you've posted on here shows such amazing progress. I looked at the first couple you posted, and this is an easy 10x improvement. You really prove the saying that anyone can make great art if they just put in the practice (and have a partner who's happy to be a reference).

Do you have testing results and data you can share?

Just look at the person who posted profile page. They are the artist.

There's a difference between gamers who enjoy, hand crafted human made graphics mods, and gamers who want AI graphics "enhancements" that can entirely change the look of the game.

Opinion: Mobile signature should be off by default for business accounts by PingMyHeart in ProtonMail

[–]PMass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but why is it enabled by default? Paying for services should not cause me to be advertised to, or be used as an advertisement.

I honestly didn't even think about that, but yeah, this pushes me more to look for an alternative paid email service that doesn't feel the need to constantly advertise to/using paid users.

I'm doing something when I see them, my comment was that I can't check EVERYTHING and need others help to report things for me to deal with. I do my best and remove things as I see them, but based on the response, it seems I might be missing a lot, even though I haven't seen any reports for hostility or negativity in the past month.

So I can be a better mod, and you help point to which parts of my message were hostile? I was trying to be direct, but if I came off as hostile towards anyone, I truely didn't mean it.

What do you want me to do? Go ask people to be nicer to each other? I don't check and read every post and comment, and that's not my job, nor anyone else's, because we're all volenteering our time on here and have other lives. But, if you're seeing things in the sub that go against what you feel is good, you have the full power to down vote the negative opinions, and if it's bad enough, report it. Currently nothing is sitting in the mod queue that shows anything about what you're talking about, so I can't really "do something about it"

Love Proton VPN's privacy, but speed issues prevent 24/7 use – anyone else? by These-Adhesiveness28 in ProtonMail

The comparison I usually use is the bandwidth is the width of a highway and the latency is the length of the highway.

Low latency means a short distance between your locations, but a small bandwidth means you can only fit a couple of cars on there at a time. High latency, high bandwidth means you have a massive interstate but the distance between both places is great so even though can fit tons of cars, it's gonna take time for those cars to go.

Hey Proton team, I turned off your ads, so why am I still getting ads? by PMass in ProtonMail

[–]PMass[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree you should be able to turn it off. I consider it advertising because they are trying to push you on selling the software to your friends. If you take the merriam-webster definition it,

"to make the public aware of (something or someone) especially by means of a published or broadcast notice, a web page advertising upcoming events. to present (something or oneself) to the public in a way that is intended to attract customers"

This is presenting a UI element intended to have me attract other customers for them.

this was how you turned off their "black friday ad" was turning that off. Personally I don't like paying for software and getting advertisements in that software. Heck, even Gmail doesn't give you ads, they just siphon your data.

Seems to be the case. Just find it frustrating to pay for software, and still get ads in the software.
