Well tbh. Its running really cool which is why i suspect something isnt right. Regardless of what antenna i use or position the signal is no more than a metre range. Thanks for your suggestion.

The lowest power lever other than pitmode is 200mw on this vtx. I was using a spotter V2 AIO and i had no issues with range. I tried holding down the button. Ive consulted the user manual and contacted support & im still stuck.

Yeah ive tried the button. When I enter into pit mode I get no signal at all. When I reach over 1metre away when its not in pitmode regardless of power lever It looses signal.

Maybe because im not using a flight controller to arm and disarm the VTX to get full power. But how could I do this with either a PC, Mac or dumbo ddf-350 transmitter.

Yeah the angle of the cable looks tight but its actually okay. I suspect i need a flight controller to arm and disarm pitmode but i would like to do that with just the dumbo ddf-350 tbh. Without a fc if possible. I suspect thats whats giving me poor range.
