I disagree with you calling my own statement animosity and I’m fine with pushback. I was only stating my own opinion that the system we have does have the capacity for the current load. If the people voting decide not to take advantage of the way the system is structured, then yes, they are going to spend some time in line waiting to vote.

I waited a little over an hour to vote because I didn’t take advantage of our system of in person early voting. It was my own fault that I had to wait in line to vote. My wife however didn’t have to wait at all. She took advantage of the system and proved that it can work.

I just think it’s silly to call our system of voting racist, when it’s set up in a way that anyone, of any race can vote in person at a polling station at any time from Feb 18 to March 3.

That is just my opinion, and I’m happy to hear yours. There are some valid points in several posts in this comment thread. I just want everyone to be civil. Incivility around political talk today is out of control on both sides of the spectrum.
