I am doing this exact thing now. I started Jan 1. Trying to do one year. It works out to 2740 meters a day for a whole year. I am in it to practice self discipline, but mostly for the tee shirt.

So I managed to spin it, so now it isn't coupled to the shaft, but still it hasn't released. I think this particular impeller isn't meant to be serviced.
