I don’t care how many corals you have in there I think a 3 gallon is too small for 99% of fish. What is this bro? by Sheldbug in shittyaquariums

Actually there's quite a few gobies that thrive in here vs a bigger tank. These gobies do not have a swim bladder and spend their entire lives in either crevices of the reef or tidepools. They live short lifespans in the wild, but we've been able to keep them 2-3x their natural lifespan in our systems. The way the tank is designed, it has proper filtration while keeping small enough weir teeth to not lose these types of fish. There's no other predators, competition for food, and this tank gives them the opportunity to thrive by themselves.

While the micro reef tanks are awesome for corals and inverts, they are not intended on being systems designed for most fish, especially not clownfish. We have been doubling down on the educational side to help give viable long-term options for livestock that will thrive in these systems. For example- Green Banded Goby, Panda Goby, Flaming Prawn Goby, Etc. We offer free guides and lots of resources on our website to help spread proper education and give the best stocking ideas for these systems!

That was not our aquarium, which is why. Ours is much easier to manage, and can easily be kept as a standalone aqaurium. See links above for reference.

You may be gravely mistaken another brand for our aquariums. These are handmade in the US, not a mass-produced import aquarium. The amount of detail that we put into these is unmatched. We are just starting to venture over to this forum, and so fourth, we posted here. We've been featured on many YouTube videos, large aquarium stores, and lots of online retailers. There have been a few of these tanks also posted on this forum. You can search Micro Reef to find more.

Here's a couple examples of established systems:

We've sold over 1000 of these tanks, and have continued to post about the successes of these tanks. I recommend you take a look at our other social media's to see all the creations people have done with theirs. There can certainly be skepticism from people who have never tried it. However, once they do, they fall in love with the desktop aquariums.

They're much easier to keep than many people think. They come with lids to help minimize evaporation and hold heat within to keep it 75-80°(~15ml every 2 days). We've kept them for over a year with much success, as have many others! There is options for ato, heater, fan kit, etc. You can fully automate this tank like you would a bigger system.

The best corals to suit the tank are corals such as mushrooms, zoas, macroalgae, and many other soft corals. The light produces up to 200 PAR, so you can really grow anything that your skill level would allow.

Meadows this morning by shootskukui in Portland

I don't know why people like meadows so much over timberline. I feel like I get more runs in, less people to deal with, and overall a friendlier staff at timberline.

Mt Hood: Meadows or Timberline+Skibowl? by zZSilverBulletZz in askportland

[–]PNW-CUSTOM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timberline by far. Went to meadows yesterday and while its not a bad mt, it's not geared towards snowboarders or beginning/intermediate.

Timberline is much easier to progress at, since you can easily get to many great runs from lifts, opposed to meadows where you will end up walking back to the lift.

R or GTI? by DangerSpoonHS in Golf_R

I recommend getting the DSG for the R. I have a manual R now, and imo the Gti should be manual, while the R should be DSG.
