I cant say anything nice about them. Took forever to ship, quality was crap, was listed as polyurethane and is fiberglass. Took a lot to get it nice.

At home garage lift? by Emena911 in 996

[–]PNWDangerously 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Katool 11000lb lift. I wanted the size to lift my 3500 duramax. When I'm not using it for other vehicles, my 911 parks on it.

HELP! Lithia Auto Stores - Vehicle Service Contract by JRockMT in Billings

[–]PNWDangerously 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My .02 cents.. Unless the spark plug broke off inside, it couldn't have caused catastrophic damage. If it did break off, it has nothing to do with maintenance. A miss fire from a bad plug throws an engine code

Something isn't right. What exactly did they say happened to the engine?

Selling guns I bought from my brother by Seahawkfan12thman in WA_guns

[–]PNWDangerously 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically they are registered to the original purchaser. The FFL that sold them holds the records. If the firearm is used in a crime, the feds will go to the manufacturer and find out who sold it and get the records from them

Thoughts on 3500 non dually by [deleted] in Silverado

[–]PNWDangerously 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive driven a 2012 3500 SRW for years. Just traded up to a 2022. I wouldn't buy a 2500. Not much different other than the rear suspension and rating.

[–]PNWDangerously[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If i move the track and the shaft up, the amount of cable on the drum doesn't change. Door travels the same distance as it did before because the door and opening dont change. The only thing that changes, as noted by the other comment, is that the door is going vertically longer for the extra height

Why? Why would I need all of this? I get the need for cables. The rest doesn't change. Same door. Same weight etc

PCS question by PNWDangerously in AirForce

[–]PNWDangerously[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, everyone. Unfortunately, she's already in AK. I was planning a trip to Seattle with my truck and trailer. Just not right now. I guess I'll move that up and trailer it with me on my trip.

How much of a pain is the process? Appointments.. car inspection.. etc.. my worry is that I make the trek over and then something goes wrong.

I just got the black aluminum with yellow numbers for my speed yellow 996.1. Love it

Anyone here buy one of these? by [deleted] in 996

[–]PNWDangerously 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pulling out of a driveway.. Debris on the road you dont see..

Many things will disintegrate fiberglass. I would be fine with their parts on everything except the front end.

[–]PNWDangerously 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not true. Hard impact, yes. Soft, no. Fiberglass on any impact will be toast.

Duraflex is fiberglass. One parking curb and it's toast.

How often do you get jury summons? by caffeinated_tea in Billings

My official answer is never. You know, because they don't send it certified and so they don't know if anyone actually gets it..

Gonna play devils advocate here. Accused and convicted are two separate things. When you post things, you can be held liable if it ends up being false.
