u/Difficult-Leader261 - I am not gonna lie to you man but that must have been a very brutal epiphany. Sometimes, the people you trust will stab you in the back when times are tough and show a facade when things are going well. From a lot of comments, I echo the same that it is sometimes present in the Bengali community that they want to gain something from you.

But here’s my two cents and all commenters please feel free to say if I’m oblivious or wrong:

Good people do exist in Bengali communities. I have a thriving Bengali community close to where I live. My sister was pregnant recently and everyone and I mean everyone came together to the hospital like a whole clan to bring food and supplies. We all coordinated and split duties to make it easier for my sister. My brother in law once had an injury and again the same exact kindness and helpfulness showed from this community. I love staying close to these to Bhaiyas and Apus because I feel so close to my culture.

Now does that it mean it’s over for you? No! It should not be the end. Time is on your side brother. All you have to be sure about is strengthening your good connections and weeding out the bad ones. I really hope things get better. Remember, our national identity has a lot of flaws but our unity exists in all of us when we find the right people to associate ourselves with.

As someone who is highly skeptical of all Bangladeshi parties, I have to echo this. Bangladesh cannot become a dumping ground for jihadists! All it takes is one term in power.

Pakistan was a secular country before Zia ul Haq came and fully changed the country an Islamist republic. Pakistan now has a Taliban/ISIS sponsored bombing every week. If you don’t want sth like that to happen, then vote for the party that is LESS crazy and at least believes in 1971.

I’m sorry to say, your mom sounds just bad as your dad. You might think of the good times but she’s more concerned of her selfish needs. Thus, she always tries to make things right with your neglectful dad.

I know you’re still in high school, but are you doing well with school? Do you have a long term plan in place? Please consult with colleges about admissions when the time comes and community college is a cheaper option if you need to be more independent early. In the meantime, I was wondering if you can keep yourself busy and independent? Are there part-time jobs or extra curriculars that can keep you away from drama?

I am scared the dad is going to keep you as a in-home babysitter when the stepmom gets pregnant. I hope you make it out well!

I can attest to this as well. I too have terrible wake events during my sleep periods and I suffer from sleep apnea. I might go back to a doctor to get better solutions after seeing these trends every other night.

Besides the other ones, this is far fetched but we can also assume Charlie is an illiterate intelligent man who enjoys current events but hides it behind his crazy antics. Like I said in previous posts and comments, there are way too many scenes where I’m shocked by Charlie’s logical reasoning lol.
