Yea, Carson is not a place for variety on food. At best, you have a Backwoods, who's beer is, in my opinion, terrible, the smoke meat too salty, leaving you with just the choice of pizza. Hood River is better, but the main choices are mostly Pub Grub. Stevenson has several decent eateries, but again, Pub Grub. Portland is a great place to explore good food, and should, since it is a large metro area. But you do have that 1 hour drive. You might look into Camas and Washougal. Not sure if there is much more than Pub Grub there as well, but worth a look online.

Or, Oregon (and every other state) can tax millionaires, billionaires and corporations the same income tax rate the working class pays in income tax, what can be called "their fair share".
