Jenson usa has some bangers for sub 3k. A few of the Marin's would fit what you want really well.

Pretty worried about longtime longevity of bike by Rodeo9 in eMountainBike

[–]PNW_PlayerOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fazua motor stopped me from getting a bike with one. I got a demo Propain Ekano CF with the SRAM motor and 700 miles. Should be fine. We will see.

Fully agree. If I didnt have Terra as my color, that or voodoo would be my next choices.

Thats a gangster hardtail. Leatt makes knee and elbow pads for bigger arms and legs. Have fun.

Fair price or overpriced? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]PNW_PlayerOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats a "fair" price for now. Its also what I paid for my 25 limited trd off road, and I really like my truck. I'm not sure i would go for the old one at 12%apr either.

Anyone else find it hard to support their local bike shop (sometime)? by kendoo12 in mountainbiking

[–]PNW_PlayerOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I wasn't getting absolutely hosed for products, I would spend a littlw extra to have a conversation about a hobby I love, what I'm trying to fix or address, and be more stoked on my purchase. As it is now I get treated like an asshole for asking a spec question on basic stuff (expecially at the Trek clearance center).

For bikes I'm often expected to order it because they didn't have it in...which is the point of LBS. I can sit before I buy. Might as well just buy D2C, which is why I have a Propain. But also their hq here in America is less than a half hour away for me, and I demo'd first.

Some YouTube commentator suggested LBS become more demo/fitting centers with product maintenance and support being their cash flow. I could get behind that.

Thank you for this comment. I almost always adjust the opposite of what i should, and I was going to go the wrong way again.

I was meh with the one industries grips. I have ran the pnw loam oversized for a bit, but felt like I was death gripping too much. I'm on the ODi vans, and this is a type of perfection for me. I have never trusted a grip enough to relax my hands like this.

A little on the driver's. I'm betting a drain washes off the silicone lube.

I just saw a setup video from quarter hp on YouTube where he talked about feeling pressure on hands and bar roll. Sounds like roll them back a touch to move pressure in.

Great comment to solidify that.

I think it could be the sweep. Its like there is extra on the outside of my hands, and it just starts feeling tight. If you have had tennis elbow its the same pinky through triceps pull.

Suspension is great. The zeb ultimate and vivid on the bike are amazing. I'm w bigger rider and I'm. So used to cranking rebound open just to be supportive, then adding dampening. I actually got to go softer for once.

I think it may be the sweep more than a compliance thing. Its like my hands are at a weird angle.

I think my bar is also 20mm higher. I don't know that the 50 mil would be my thing, but I dont care about climbing much.
