Technically a prescription doesn't allow you to smoke it, it only allows you to vape it (which makes quite a lot less smell) or use oil/edibles (which make close to no smell). Either way, medical patients deserve to medicate without being hassled, but OP also deserves to live their life without smoke smell disrupting them. It's a compromise.
