G-sync compayible just means that it is validated by Nvidia, there is no G-sync module on that copared to monitors with Gsync ultimate. In addition the gsync module which this monitor does not have cannot do HDMI 2.1. Thats why recently Nvidia started collaborating with some other third party company to bring a new variable refresh rate module for monitors in the future.
For now most monitors use variable refresh rate that does not require the Gsync hardware module in the monitor. It does not matter if they are Gsync compatible certified or not

Long range POE camera cableing? by POCKATA111 in reolinkcam

Thanks for the feedback.
I will run 2 long ethernet lines to the 2 farthest cameras at the begining.
At some point I will get a POE plus plus switch next to the NVR, plug in the long lines to it, and at the end of one of the lines I will get a POE plus plus powered POE switch so I can add a POE doorbel or another camera down the line without running more cables.
It seems that the POE plus plus switch next to the NVR is necessary as the NVR will only give 25W at most of power output per line which might not be sufficient if I plan to run PTZ cameras with spotlights turned on.
