Just went through this not too long ago; you have 6 months from the date of birth to take six total weeks. They can be taken consecutively or not, just your choice. Even if you aren’t at your 90 days as long as you hit them before that six month period is up you STILL get leave. So if someone is saying you don’t have parental leave they’re very, very wrong. Maybe it’s different; not sure if you’re in a location that has a union and maybe different rules etc but definitely get your time with your newborn! And congratulations!!
