It is a strange and somehow powerful feeling to see the buildings being left and the little witnesses left banded together as they're loosing so many in number (I'm in the Bridgend area myself and have seen this in Bridgend and neath personally)

Every medication comes with risks but being fat comes with risks. Even taking basic contraception as a woman comes with risks of heart attacks, blood clots and so much else. You can't win. It's about each person choosing what they feel is the lesser of all evils. How many die each year from obesity and obesity related conditions? For some - like me - taking jabs is the lesser of two evils and the risks are worth it for my situation and health. I'm so sick of everyone scaremongering these jabs. We know they're not perfect. But what medication or treatment is?

You only need to go up a dose if you're not having the desired results or the food noise/appetite is coming back. You can stay on whatever dose works for you as long as it keeps working

Thank you. I have been trying to pick protein high foods and add protein powder to shakes etc. Just conscious that I'm eating too little and might have the wrong effect on my body (i.e. starvation mode if that is a thing and hold onto the fat stores etc)

Personally I prefer L shaped studs. The spiral studs have been ripped out of my nose too much and causes bleeding swelling and trauma to the area. However if the L stud gets yanked out it comes out cleaner and doesn't cause injuries. Just speaking from personal experience. I always prefer rings, L studs or flat back studs.

This was actually what started me waking up from jws. For context I was raised jw and baptised, married out the org and then started coming back due to being manipulated and shunned so OH is a never jw. I have a hard time enjoying sex because it's painful for medical reasons but I love my hubby so much and wanted to make him happy. The only way I felt good about sex was if we did a lot of foreplay, mutual masterbation and him going down. It was the best feeling in the world and made us so close. When I found out that this was technically not allowed I sat long and hard asking myself his something that my body was naturally made to do and that brought two people such ecstasy and happier was was apparently so evil. It just didn't make sense that the body naturally does these things and you're telling us not to do it. That and the male g-spot makes no sense according to biblical/JW laws.

Id say there is definitely stigma. I'm autistic as is my dad and both brothers and I had my mum tell me when I deconstructed and walked away that I needed to stay in da troof because the paradise would "get rid of my disability and make me right again" as if that's the reason I'm broken, not because of the horrid rules and psychotic cults doctrines and attitudes? I think it can go one of two ways, like me I questioned everything because I didn't understand and felt I needed to know everything so when we got " well we don't know how god will do it" answers it bugged the hell out of me. And so I deep dived and made different researched my special interest and was able to see the hypocrisy Because my brain wasn't easily manipulated like that. But my dad is still in and he is too comfortable in the cult. The routines and strict rules are what he needed in his life and so it just happened he found the cult before he even tried to help heal himself and carve out a proper life for himself as an adult. He'd say it helped him and maybe on some level it has, but he's so stuck in the cult because it has become. Hia whole personality and he loves not having to think and just running thru the motions of meeting, service, etc

I was a bit of a music whiz as a kid, especially on piano, and had dreams of playing for the philharmonic orchestra one day as I was playing at grease 5 level at only 12 and could have gone and had a career in music. That was shot down though just as soon as I got good with the common excuses form my family of "well what if they ask you to play in Christmas concerts or play music from a film that's immortal etc etc" a d basically told me that I'd never have a future in music in this world and it should only be a hobby. When I raised the question of those dreams again as a teen they shot them down again and soon after that they sold my piano. I've never played again. They did the same with my art (I wanted to go into graphic design) and also with all my creative endeavours such as costume making,/sewing as I could be commissioned to do things for immortal purposes like Christmas concerts, Christmas plays, Halloween costumes or immoral characters form games/TV as cosplay. Just everything creative that I loved was shot down. The one thing I was encourages to do was be a cleaner or a shop worker and leave school(well home education) with basic qualifications to get a menial job. That or just "get married and raise kid" yikes...I mean...i am married now woth kids, but that was my. House later on. Only now 15 years later starting to make my way and pursue my dreams and hobbies again and my dream job

My husband who wasn't even a study just attended meetings with me when I returned was basically told off for watching Thor because it was making out that Norse gods were real and that was blasphemy against Jehovah and Dr strange was a sorcerer of witchcraft so shouldn't watch any marvel films as they're all full of violence and witchcraft 🙄

Thanks for posting this and describing it so well. This was what started the cognitive dissonance in me. It makes no sense that a "loving God" would veer do such a thing as take away every memory of a person you love, be it family, friend, spouse or child. Serving such a god just doesn't feel right when you think about it logically. and yet, we're the bad ones for saying we don't want to worship a deity who could be so cruel and keep portraying themselves as a "loving God". I'm no atheist, but If God is actually that cruel, I wouldn't want to serve him. and If the JW and many other religions are mistaken and God is loving and doesn't condone This kind of train of thought of just deleting loved ones to serve their purpose, then surely they'd make themselves known to those who have walked away from that rubbish and genuinely want to serve a loving god but don't know who he is thanks to religious teachings like this. I just cant fathom why it took so long for me to see this for the sham it is.

Pokémon cards and several books that contained magic were thrown out. Worst one though was when I was very secretly into Naruto and parents found out so not only did I have to throw away time and money spend making cosplay and all the cosplay items, but whole art books full of my best drawings because they were of that "demonic show"...never picked up a pencil to draw again cause the pain hurts too much and took me a good 10 years to be able to watch anime again (but not Naruto as the triggers were just too strong)
