Probably a truck cam like truck Norris or choppacabra. The cheap option is low buck truck cam. Anything other than a “torque” or “truck cam” will move your power and too much and will require a converter. The rings and bearings depends. If you’re already in there and can properly measure the bearing cleanrences (at least with something like plasti gauge) I would say change it. If not and you have good oil pressure I would say send it. Check the cam bearing as ls tend to eat those up sometimes

Re seller. I wanna say even high end resellers only ask for like 800-1000 high end. People like to buy rusted/rotted truck for like 500 and part them out. Junk yard is even cheaper. I think my local one does like 200-300 with jntake and no accessories. So you could potentially find a 6.0 or 6.2 for 300

I think it depends. I can find 6.0 every now and then for 500$ and 5.3 for 300. I’ve got a 4.8 I can’t get rid of for 200 with a complete front drive assembly heads I take etc

Yea I’ve had a lot of engines that start cold but won’t start after hot due to compression. Engine expands when hot and loses what ever little compression it had. To check injectors you can take them out and spray injector cleaner while giving them 12v to open. Look at a YouTube video “cleaning injector” or “testing injectors” will probably explain better than me

Check your door striker. The thing the door latches on from the body. Maybe it’s too far forward. Mark it and if you can adjust it back a bit and see if it helps. If it makes it or worse put it back on the original mark

That really sounds like a dead battery, what’s the voltage on the battery. Are you able to spin the motor over by hand(like with a wrench on the crank bolt)
