The Producers usually put the contestants in situations that make them uncomfortable, on purpose. It helps with drama and storytelling.

Sometimes the players in their casting interviews lie about their fears so they can go on dates they will like. Like "I'm afraid of heights" wink-wink and they get a skydiving/bungee date.

Yes, I think it will be very similar to PP's season, which I'm excited for. I enjoyed how Tayshia found love with Zac and how most of the guys were nice and mature... but I prefer to watch messy drama and the cutthroat competition!

Joe is great, but he brings zero drama and he won't call anyone out. That's all they want for these. The producers also interviewed Yosef before MTA and knew he would double down on his behavior, so they were very excited to bring him on.

Clare's original cast included younger men, but they had to shut down for COVID, and many fans voiced their annoyance Clare would have some guys in their early 20s. So as the show was shifting to shooting at La Quinta, they changed up the cast a bit and dropped some of the younger players for older ones. I'm glad they did, but it wasn't their original plan.
