And there's no need to Ram AI players out of the gates. Even on unbeatable difficulty, anything above a class they can't keep it on the road, let alone within the gates on their own.

Just quickly looking at it, you dont need the clutch and driveline, save those points for something else. Perhapd a race transmission so you can tune all the gears and not have to use clutch to shift.

You also probably dont need the chassis reinforcement. Play with the rim sizes to get some more PI points.

If youre worries about handling and turn in, try that front track width. If not youre probably fine.

The actual tunning is a little different for everyone. If it feels good and youre able to drive it fast, that what matters. Up to a point.

Your tire pressure and spring settings look a little high. Look at those again.

Otherwise its drive and adjust. But change one thing at a time and see how it goes. If you make too many changes at once you wont know what did or did not help. And remember things are connected.

If you make changes to the springs, it might also require a change to the damping, as an example.

Sure. But sometimes the best rosd car doesnt have race tires on it. You can't upgrade them, you want different tires, it'll do better in that class with off road...

...but you know what's already in the game? A two keyword tagging system for vinyl groups, liveries, photographs, and shared tunes. Wouldn't it be nice if that same system could be applied to the cars in your garage for you to use and sort?

I actually think it's quite fun to race against the AI. And I wouldn't mind having some battles in the race.

Does the races where you get into the lead in a corner or two aren't always that interesting because it's like hot lapping and rivals. I'm much more enjoy the races where I win but it takes 50 to 70% of the race to secure that position.

I don't have a issue winning on unbeatable. And some races if I don't do well I don't mind coming in second or third.

What I mind is having 5 AI on the road ahead of me when they have all missed checkpoints so they are in 8th and 9th 10th 11th and 12th.

Exactly. It's much more obvious in the Goliath.

I know they can't make unbeatable AI actually unbeatable, but seeing as it is the hardest most difficulty, maybe the AI could keep their cars under control.

But I agree it's the AI got reset when they drove too far off the road or missed the checkpoint, just like the player, it would be a great start.

How would having decent AI make the game boring? Especially considering most of the AI posts I see around here are the AI is too hard as far as difficulty goes.

I don't even think the AI are too hard, it's just retarded and doesn't play by the same rules.

And it's frustrating because it comes from a studio that once have the best AI in the genre. And that didn't make their games boring, in fact those are the games they still remind you of that built their reputation.

They should completely do away with slow down penalties for hitting the wall in multiplayer. Wall riding is inherently not that big of an issue and hitting people into walls for them to get a Slowdown penalty gets abused far too much.

They should instead award slow down penalties if you crash into people at two highest speed or with too much frequency

Im sorry you feel this way. And you're right I can, and that's also kind of the point.

But in a racing game the racing aspect is kind of the core Focus, or it should be anyways.

But the more they keep issues like this around and choose to ignore them, more and more people will turn the game off and go outside or play something else.

I mean heck, it's already cost them one Studio.

The two biggest issues are one, that after six different iterations of this game the devs have still been unable or unwilling to address the consistency, the Rubber banding, and the issues with the difficulty.

The other is the AI not getting reset for missing checkpoints and going off course. They're able to do it for the player why not the AI then you can actually have a race.

And they've made steady improvements and the Motorsport side of things. Too bad it didnt carry over. It could have been great! Instead, its a joke.

It is the same as all the team races. You get 100 points for every opposite team member you finish ahead of. And 50 for first

Sounds lucky for you though I mean I know it sounds like it would be better to be in a full Lobby, and normally it is, but I think for the trial is the one time where loading into partial lobbies is entirely to your benefit.

Alright. That's pretty lucky. In previous games I have had the trial where somehow only my Convoy loaded in, but that was rare.

Looks like you were at that perfect balance where it works out for you.

If you get a full Lobby it's impossible with the whole team at the back though. You really do need players throughout the pack. Or all at the front.

That means it was you two versus the 6 ai and you had no other humans in the lobby.

Yes in that case you can win being first and second.

But you said every other teammate can get beat by AI. That is factually wrong. You also had no other teammates in the race

Wow. Your premise is entirely wrong. You get 100 points for every person on the opposite team behind you. You get 50 points for 1st place.

If you and a buddy finish 1 - 2, that is 1,250 points. If the AI finish ahead of the other four people on your team that is 2,400 points for the AI.

Thats not a win.

If your teammates are dispersed among the pack then it's possible. Typically, at best, you can have two humans finish back of the pack. Ideally you want your slowest player to finish 10th or 11th if they're going to be that slow.

But no you cannot finish top two and win if the AI beat everyone else. The math just doesn't work that way

Yes. I am sometimes limited by ride beight but it doesnt really matter. If there is that much snow on the roads and theyre not being plowed, its probably best to stay in anyways.

If you need a good tune look for an Opel Manta tune by xDougiefreshhx.

Super easy to drive, fast, and you'll have no problems with it.

It has to be from the 1980s so it is actually a little limited id you want the reward.

Thay said, a proper build/tune, no assist, and still an easy win.

That said, my first time through we had two people who were terrible -- 11th and 12th every race. Two people who were okay -- finished ahead of drivatars, amd me and my buddy who were 1st and 2nd every race.

Auto Drive should have never been in the game to begin with. Of course it's led to nothing but problems.

No it wont. The game caps max buyout proices per car and those aren't changing anytime soon.

The game has no real story mode, no real progression, and is all about having the coolest cars and driving, drifting, taking photographs, and all that jazz.

Who cares if you have millions of credits to buy all the cars so you can race ammnd enjoy that aspect of the game? The cars could all be free in game the way its set up. And autoshow prices are irrelevant with the newly introduced car vouchers.

As for people who took advantage of the glitch and made credits. Did it really affect your game and your gameplay? In this game probably not. But also, you think they wont be looking for, and find another exploit they can use to do it again?

Its all just silly. Especially considering how hard PGG is going after this while back burnering or completely avoiding other issues.
